- In 2024, Nomos Glashütte for the first time came to Watches & Wonders. The debut was spectacular, as they came with 31 colour variations of their Tangente 38 date pieces to celebrate 175 years of watchmaking in Glashütte.

I loved the Tangente. Before prices were jacked up from 1.000 to 2.000 EUR.
Nomos neomatic 42 is my next watch and maybe the Best quality to price in modern watchmaking

Die Tangente ist 37mm. Eigentlich perfekt für das Handgelenk meiner Frau. Die Überraschung mit der 179.S12 ist ordentlich in die Hose gegangen. Die Uhr ist optisch viel zu groß . Die Hörner sind viel zu lang . Ich war komplett enttäuscht.
Für mich sind das eigentlich 31 Damenuhren , den Farben nach zu urteilen.
Nomos, schöne Idee aber schlecht umgesetzt.
The problem with nomos its they looks like a luxury swatch,the same design changing color,a little boring i think,and why dont they made a nomos with big seconds? Or chrono...gmt whatever...i know its minimalist but the price is not so minimalist,needs more design...just my opinion
Big seconds & chronische doesn‘t follow their design-language, imo. They already made 2 GMT‘s like the „Tangomat GMT“ & „Zürich Weltzeit“.
But I also wish, they make more models, instat of colors..
The big brands like Rolex or Omega also do the same thing. Same models, different colors. Never change a running system.
I also don't think the price is too high for the overall package. Take a look at a Lange Saxonia Thin or JLC Master Ultra Thin, for example. Both equally, if not more minimalist, but for 7 times the price.
