    I thought you can confirm by Quantefiron Blood test for TB. I really thought it was 1 because that's what clincs do. I have a positive tb test however chest x-ray cleared me. And it good for 10 years... Nclex questions are fun but can be a bit challenging.

    Hello Professor D, in TB question (has positive skin test but has no evidence of active disease) how could the priority of administration of Isoniazid be for 12 months (as there is no active disease). An individual who has received a BCG vaccine will have a + Tuberculin skin test result. How come in this question we select the drug in the absence of active disease.

    Streptomycin and Isoniazid are both TB medications, my question is why did you pick Isoniazid over Streptomycin?

    • @NexusNursing
      @NexusNursing  2 роки тому +3

      Strep is an abx that treats TB among many other infections. INH is specific to TB and is classified as an anti TB med
