New Brake Pad & Rotor Kit from 1AAuto.com trq.video/ic-1...
This video shows you how to install new, quality TRQ brake pads and rotors on your 1994-2004 Chevy S10. Brake pads wear out over time, much like tires, and need replacing, on average, every 50,000 miles, with variations depending on driving habits and environment. Brake rotors may also need to be replaced if they are warped or grooved. Often, it’s safer and more cost effective to replace pads and rotors at the same time. Squealing or grinding noises, or wheel vibration are all symptoms of worn brakes.
This repair was done on a 1994 Chevrolet S10 Base 2.2L Standard Cab Pickup 2-Door RWD Automatic and the process should be similar on the following vehicles:
1994 Chevrolet S10
1995 Chevrolet S10
1996 Chevrolet S10
1997 Chevrolet S10
1998 Chevrolet S10
1999 Chevrolet S10
2000 Chevrolet S10
2001 Chevrolet S10
2002 Chevrolet S10
2003 Chevrolet S10
2004 Chevrolet S10

It’s worth noting that for the 4.3 4x4 you don’t have to remove the wheel bearing to replace the rotors. It is a separate part. This fix is for the 2.2.
Love the Pittsburgh composite retchet, but please get some breaker bars lol
Is It best to use new bearings?
Thank you, very instructive ! GOD bless you and keep you.
do you think it would be possible to put standard rotor on this?
With the spring tip brakes it seems like they go in easier if you do the top first. Then use your thumbs on both sides to push the bottom in. They can be a bit of a pain if you never changed brakes of that style before. When i went to change my brakes on my Chevy for the first time I was lost. I mean I figured it out. But it was nothing like any other brakes I had changed before that.

Is that backing plate just held by the 2 bolts I saw?
What was the torque on the castle nut? I have a 2003 Chevy S10.

3rd trip to harbor freight.. and it us not 10mm smfh
There was no need for all that to come off just for break pads. Obvious your putting new stuff on but we came here just for pads not a whole restoration on a front end lol
Did not replace the O-rings and the bushings and go over the O-rings
