I have used the CAT and White Star and I prefer the White Star. The CAT is faster but it lacks a suspension lift which is why the WS beats it in the deep mud, snow and water which is everywhere in the game.
I 100% agree, but i think the last test was unfair to the WS, you can just throw i inot high and it plaws through everything short of deep mud or water
@@Snas_Undertall The CAT won because of his speed in the multiple races that were done in this test. But snowrunner is an offroad game and in that regard the White western star is the better choice.

I feel like a lot of these should've been considered ties. When a truck finishes within 1 second of the 1st one, the difference is negligible and could potentially even be caused by a physics glitch and/or a minor driving error.
CT680 is good as dedicated crane(but not rescue, just in manual load spots), WWS as all arounder, kodiak it is so smooth, superb on rocky terrain and in quarries (because of the highest GC among them all ), and Fleestar, it's beautiful workhorse and your first truck.
Now I will admit have a soft spot for the international fleetstar f2070a And the white western star 4964 and yes I know those tracks are not the fastest but then again SnowRunner or isn’t it a racing game, Nice video mate👍
White Western Star is by far the best out of those trucks. Only reason it didn't win by a mile was it's not got straight line speed for races. In terms of mud, water, swamps, hauling etc, it's the easy winner.
Fleetstar is still such a beast. White star has a beautiful low growl, but my problem with it is that it eats too much. On load it it's almost as much as the P16, and with such a small tank, it's not a long range truck, one back and forth run and it's done. Cat looks good, but sadly it's not clearly better than the others.
Berliet is a fantastic truck mod. I ferried a scout across a river and I had to work for it. It didn't feel like an I WIN button but let me do something that the bade game doesn't in a balanced way.
The White Western Star is the best where it matters, as the video clearly shows. If it had access to mudtires, it would have easily be top 3. The Fleetstar comes very close, too, but it loses on stability a little. I love both of them.
I personally find the Fleetstar to be a very dependable workhorse. It's a jack of all trades, master of none, like the Chevy CK1500. There are better options for more specialized tasks, but it is an excellent all rounder from the start of the game to the final missions.
The video's are cool & informative.... but I doubt many players will dive these trucks in stock form ! For me it would be the Fleetstar then the White WS ✌😎 Of course I'm talking fully upgraded ! Most of the time I'm running around in the Tayga & F750 😆
Yeah, love the cat but it isn't good enough, isn't even free, and the all wheel drive is beside the royal bm17 , like why would you need the awd for a highwayish truck when u can get one of the best trucks in game
I mean my comments old anyway and I have played I a fair few months, however I always found the Kodiak had a sneaky upgrade in non AWD form, the power reserve of single versus dual rear axle. If 2 axles are powered it’s 50-50 but if only 1 is powered then you get out of touch spots, that’s why the off-road even with all wheel drive was so much easier imo for the C-70. I don’t care what the video says VIVA LA C-70!
Well you can't compare these tests with the real game. W.W.Star doesnt stop driving no matter what but the speed of Cat is usefull in Alaska, where you have normal roads. Still nice to watch mate.
The kodiak is at a severe disadvantage being that it’s down a rear axle. However it’s still my go to because the first person view is great. It would stomp them all if it had another in the rear for sure.
White Western Star is the truck you want to do tasks, fleet star is a smaller less capable version of western, Kodiak is more of a truck for side board bed cargo and cat I wouldn’t say it’s worth it due to it not being very capable and easily damaged
