The first thing you need to do to before moving to the suburbs of Chicago is Call/text/email me! I’m available 7 days a week to talk about moving you to the suburbs of Chicago. Zoom is super easy to use too, if you haven’t used it I’ll teach you. So the the first thing you need to do before moving out to the suburbs of Chicago is reach out!
Next is number 2. What your are specific wants and needs in the suburbs of Chicago. Do you have kids and the school district is the biggest priority? Maybe you are single and you are looking for a suburb that has some night life and a downtown? Or are you retiring and needing to downsize? Maybe family or friends have given you advice...but maybe we need to look closer at exactly which suburb is going to be the best fit for you. So that brings us to our next step…
Number 3 is building out your custom search. We have the ability to get very micro with our search in the suburbs of Chicago that can get very specific. Let's carve out the exact house! With the MLS search I can can get very specific…maybe you are looking for a large custom water front home in a gated home? Or maybe you are looking for country living and being a little more “off the grid”. I can narrow down subdivisions, home size and have it sent to you real time as new houses come up. And the best of all..this is all done without me having to reach out. If you see a home you you like in the suburbs of Chicago, just click on it in your email and say you are interested and we will check it further.
Next is number 4. We need set up Tour dates! If you are coming from out of state I’ll pick you up from the hotel and you can jump in my SUV and we will look at the homes you choose and I’ll give you an in depth tour of the community and surrounding area. We can even grab lunch and a beer..or coffee to get a great feel of the area! If you can’t come in town…I can do a virtual tour of the home and get you as much information as I can about the community your looking at! I’ll even walk the town for you! If your local..we can do the same thing! If you know the area already I’d still love to show you around and spend time finding the perfect home. I’ll try to get you to get a real feel for the neighborhoods in suburbs of Chicago. This leads into number 5.
Setting up your lending!
This is very obviously important We need to get you to a Local knowledgeable lender who understands our market and the states lending laws. Market is moving quick...let’s get ahead of the game and make sure the lender we have has our backs and can help get our offer accepted. Now it’s obviously your choice who you end up using as your lender, if you have a friend or family member please feel free to use them…but again, it helps to use someone local and knowledgeable which provides such a valuable asset for all of us. Now if you if your a few days out from starting your search...or maybe one year out reach out know so we can move this step up to get this started. It makes a big difference, especially when the market is hot and homes are flying off the market like it is right now. And once your offer is accepted…that brings us to number 6!
Number 6, guiding you through this buying process. This can be emotional and stressful...but we will try to eliminate this. Let’s get the offer accepted...then we need to get through the inspection process. The inspection may be different than what you are used to if your not from the area…like radon and lead based paint tests. But I’m here to help guide you and look at these reports to help decide where we go next…if we need to re-negotiate based off the inspection report, that what I’m here to do! During this last phase I’ll keep you in the loop using video/text/phone and email. If it’s urgent..I’ll call right away.
