there's so many little details in the weapons it really is insane how much effort they put into revitalizing classic weapons and fleshing out newer ones
Not to he a buzzkill - as much as I'm excited for infinite etc The weapon animations are dreadful and boring - CE had more interesting animations Especially the reloads on some guns, downright lazy
Its literally just basic halo animations. Is this what you people are celebrating? While you tell real fans to get over the fact that co op and forge wont be at launch ?
I mean that's sad for sure, but I don't think the hammer melee was sacrificed for the sake of these animations, I think it was just a creative and or balancing choice...

Also I said other weapons because I assumed the sentinel beam would have a different melee for if it was overheating but it might not if the plasma pistol doesn't. I am literally the definition of disorganization and I wrote, erased, and rewrote this comment so sorry if this reply seems a little cluttered 😅
when the pulse carbine is venting, the spartan uses his left hand to punch instead of the usual animation. The ravager also has an unique meele animation, that only plays, when the gun is overheating.

I didn't expect to love the Ravager, but after the flight it's become a go to gun.
Especially in BTB, it functions so well in close to mid range fights against anything except flying vehicles
It’s because it does so well against vehicles.
Once you get the hang of the arc you can start blasting people from leagues away, absolutely my new favorite.

Wish they’d bring back details in the vehicles. Halo 3 had better vehicle destruction and damage than Infinite.

This was present in halo 4 but the animations were just a regular punch. This is a step up.
That's so cool. What a neat little throwaway detail. Just goes to show you they're really pulling out the stops this time.
It makes sense tho. If the weapon is extremely overheated, you'd wanna make sure u don't burn your hand.
It feels like they really put a huge emphasis on just working on the little details. Really is a love letter to halo

Oh wow, I think they're avoiding having the spartan grab back on to the "hot part" during cool down, that's some attention to detail.

Still feels more like Titanfall than Halo to me. Don't get me wrong, I love titan fall. It seems they are shying away from what Halo was
Beside grappling hook and sprint/slide everything else is pure Halo, it's even more Halo than Halo Reach imo
