Real talk and serious question for all doom players..... Is it just me, or is this the hardest and most uphill-battle season so far? Literally every match I play is just like this. Mauga, Sombra, throw zen in the mix, cass even.... Its SO boring, a struggle, and just like Zbra says, you really need to play perfect or else youre throwing. Anyone else feel like this seasons matches have just been terrible to play?
Dawg i was going through my wins and losses and noting each teams comp on a loss and it’s always the heroes you’ve mentioned. Zen, Cass, Mauga, Orisa, Roadhog, and she who must not be named. It feels like every game i play im in a 1v5

Seeing ZBRA struggle in games like this makes me feel a little better when it happens to me. Sometimes you just get a bad match.
Mauga just needs a complete rework. He's like an easier, less punishable Roadhog...which is a crazy sentence.

@@jackiejackyjaqy...7219 You don't see a problem with a tank whose charge trumps all other charges, whose ult stops all movement abilities, who has a comically large ammo count, who has high dmg output while also being extremely tanky, and whose ideal playstyle involves constantly shooting the enemy tank? I think a fair nerf to mauga would be to make him do 25 or 50% less damage when shooting shields or dmg mitigation abilities. I.e block, shields or zarya bubble

Mauga’s kit is basically a dps with the sustain of a tank. They should just remove him from the game tbh, because it’s impossible to balance dogshit character design like this.

I don't mean to rock anyone's boat. But if you're playing NEAR perfect (I saw some mistakes in here) and it gets you to top 100 I think that's a pretty balanced character. Does he expect to have a bunch of slack when it comes to mistakes in top 100? I play support at masters 1 and any small mistake can result in the death of a teammate then a lost fight. Yeah it feels hard for everyone. Maybe doomfist especially because he's a more technical character, but should playing NEAR perfect guarantee a breeze win? Of course not.

@@italo-hungariananimation2149imo that whole mechanic shouldn't be in the system like why tf should I be punished because you put me in a game you expected me to win it should be a game that could go either way every time I get that might make queue times longer but at the minimum it shouldn't make a game that's unbalanced to the point of needing a expected or consolidation rank modifier

true. dodge the counters simulator. kill 3 a fight and your team still doesn’t walk simulator. kill 3 and watch your team die while you’re on cd. try to get healed up behind a wall simulator. 1 second of uptime simulator. team get one shot by hog after you kill 2 simulator. get reported after saying your team doesn’t deserve the win simulator. dps diff simulator. fortnite battle royale simulator. cleansed emp punch simulator. 321 int on widow simulator. hacked around a corner simulator. ect
And Dey say support players are the ones playing dead by daylight..

mauga orisa are broken
DPS passive is hard to play against with any tank let alone doom (besides mauga orisa)

can’t kill anything bcz of the HP increase
sombra can not only hack you on cooldown but can melt you too
like so many reasons why doom and pretty much every other tank (that isn’t orisa and mauga) sucks rn.

I want them to tone down the april fools quick melee, and turn it into an empowered quick melee that works like a normal melee, but when empowered cancelles into rising uppercut. Like ShinShoryuken.
It really is a bad season for the fun heroes (tank specifically). If you aren’t already in high elo, making Ball, Doom, or Monkey work without full stacking is just impossible. I used to win maybe 55% of my games with Ball; that is about 50% this season, and gonna be under that by seasons end I’m sure.

They should implement a damage reduction passive for tanks, like the more people that shoot theres more dmg reduction just to make it less punishing as a tank, and discord wouldnt be a melter

Mauga's too much of a Tank Counter he just has to chase down the Tank so Tank basically isn't the Tank for his team, but he has to instead run for his life and use his cds as a way to survive longer.
I already called it that Mauga was so punishing back when they allowed us to play him for the first time. The annoying thing is that no one even in the Top 500 noticed how punishing he is for Tanks. Flats and Emong didn't even notice how punishing he will be Flats just bitched at how easy he is to kill and that Mauga needs heal bots to survive longer, not noticing how deadly an akimbo minigun wielding, with burn effect and crit included, and non-cancellable charge of a build will be miserable to go up against especially for Tanks.
The bleed effect works for JQ because she doesn't have a fast fire rate as Mauga, she has to reload a bit more frequently, and she is also not super Tanky.

real talk - doom is useless without such a good support. your support was crazy good and most of us who are in the gold/plat will almost never get such good support. your DPS were great as well. they basically carried the whole game in my honest opinion

He never said he carried or sojourn didn’t play perfect. His team was very good. It’s just that as soon against those players like Mauga and sombra and cass you literally have to play doomfist perfect. You cannot miss a punch. You cannot misuse a block. You cannot play to far out of cover even for a second or you’ll get hacked etc

Mauga will probably see more nerfs,Sombra’s hack interact needs some tweaking, and Zen needs to change his discord orb to 10% more dmg and 5%slowed. A flat 30+ dmg will never work in this game.

Strangely yes and no… like I can actually play into hog a bit you just have to be careful. Orisa is a bit more annoying but not as bad as mauga. Like I can play into Mauga but it is so difficult if my dps isn’t on point. Because unlike orisa and hog he will peek with that stupid charge everytime you try to hit the back line. So it’s up to your dps to get people low or get picks

I do what I can to turn a low bit rate stream rip into something watchable. It’s not perfect but it’s the best I could do to upscale the videos to 1440p

They should remove the modifiers, just +25 or -25 and thats it, no streaks, no expecteds, no uphill battles, no compensations, just the same number up or down

It should account for who carried the most in the game instead. Those going negative should lose more/gain less while those carrying the team lose less and gain more.
I honestly don't get the complaining. I get he's better than I will ever be, but like... how do you complain? If they don't counter you you just roll them. Doomfist just destroys teams if you don't counter him. It's like ball. Ball wrecks teams if you don't counter him. They want to win just like he does. So, they counter him. Also, he's a 1 trick. He asks what he does? He plays another hero if this one isn't working. You can't really complain when you play an OP hero that you can only really beat at high elos by countering him, and you're 1 tricking him. I like ZBRA. He's fun to watch. Fan boy abuse me all you'd like, but I'm not wrong.
The problem is that the bad heroes design has led to counterwatch and counterwatch is nofunwatch
@@pirate135246 I get what you're saying, but that's just how games like this are. There are counters to heroes. You have to adapt and play other heroes. I do get what you're saying though and I don't disagree.
Yeah what the other guy said. Counter heroes aren't bad necessarily, it's just the heroes who ARE Doom's counters are designed horrifically and lead to this mess of counterswapping. Sombra's hack takes around 0.70~ seconds to complete and the actual hack itself lasts 1.5 seconds. It's just not fair
@@lf2334 the thing is, it doesn't have to be like this. There are many egregious balance choices that stand out like a sore thumb. Overwatch used to be a game with soft counters and engaging matchups, now a lot of it is hard counters and counterswapping
i’ve played ow for years and it’s never been this bad, sure there’s always been counters but now with only one tank EVERY SINGLE counter is aimed at the tank. there are times where i’ve legit died on purpose or hope we loose a fight so they don’t counter swap. Ppl gotta realize u aren’t owl players u don’t need to sweat ur ass off and act like u get paid to play this game, just play a character u enjoy and everyone will have more fun
