Did you know that there is another Floating village in Thailand?, most people think that Koh Panyee is the ONLY floating village in Thailand. Well that is because 99.9% of Thailand UA-camrs know very little!. Sorry facts!… Checkout Rural life at Bang Phat (or Pat) fishing village in PhangNga Thailand. Baan Bang Pat is famous along locals for their seafood restaurants and seafood exports, suppling Phuket, PhangNga and Krabi markets and restaurants. The village has been around for about 100 years, it was formally names Baan Bang Ling because the large monkey population living in the mangrove forest. Banf Phat is not yet well know for many foreigners visiting but they are more then happy and ready to welcome tourist now that Thailand has reopened under the Thailand Pass.
Driving from Phuket, you can reach Bang Pat in about 35min from Phuket border.
