man your slammin em. so you like froggin open water just as much as grass ? that's always kept me from throwing a frog a lot cuz I dont always have tons of grass on the lakes I fish
They’ll eat a frog anywhere. There are times when a walking bait will outfish a frog but I just let the fish tell me what they want and this trip they were screaming through a megaphone “we want a frog!” 😂

Absolutely crushing it out there. Amazing fishing. I'm actually gonna try some spro frogs because of you! I am a HUGE fan of the smash mouth/Bobby's perfect frog/phat frog from snag proof and the launch frog and trophy frog from scum frog because they never seem to take on water but you have proven to me that the Spro offerings are special. My biggest bass on a frog was 8 lbs on the Strike King Pad Perch in white in July on a flat in open water - bluebird sky. I'll never forget that fish! This year my biggest was 7 lbs 8 oz in May in a pocket at 9 am with the Rotten Banana Pad Perch. That's a dirty little dude even though not the most durable. Keep slaying the frog fish dude. 🐸🐸🐸🏆🏆🏆
I used to throw the kvd popping perch a lot. Definitely a big fish bait. It’s a lot harder to fool those really big ones nowadays on the frog. I caught a few over 6 this year but couldn’t find that 7. Those really big ones will hit when you least expect it lol
@@frogman8120 two that you need to get in your arsenal for those big fish that have seen a lot of frogs are the scum frog trophy popper which is the best small profile frog I've ever used and you also need to try the snag proof zoo pup - it's like a spook frog - they both work really well - I usually bend the hooks up a hair for better hook ups with any frog but they'll catch fish stock. Plenty of time left for a giant this fall/early winter! Hope you find her!
Try you a Scum frog ,the Bigfoot and the little Bigfoot have the paddle feet on them and will make the water gurgle as you reel it in, they do make a Scum frog brand with the rubber strands feet but the Bigfoot are my favorite, I use the white with the green legs and green and black design on its back, when I fished tournaments they’d literally wear the paint off the backs of them🤙🏼
It’s a rule that when they are killin’ the frog you CAN NOT leave the lake until they quit! When you start bass fishing you sign on to the rules and you must follow them,there are people that have lost jobs, girlfriends and marriages over the frog bite also a ton of people have been stranded or had to walk home because of it but it’s a rule no way around it!
