Love this match..both teams got fast & skilful forward..& the commentator got to deliver his comment at a fast pace too ...that's make this match great to watch ..fast attacking moves & fast commentary..
Gotta love how the Boro player was about to keep running then deliberately moved his leg back so he could fall down and get McLean sent off. Bonus point for the roll around, and agonised expression too. This is becoming a running theme against Carrick's Middlesbrough. Howson-ball lives on.
Best part is, he received medical treatment and the referee let him stay on the pitch and take the free kick despite the rules stating he should of been taken to the sidelines
Kenny initially looks to be getting him on the shin but only gets him on the foot that isn’t a high tackle and tbh he looks like he’s gone down with a bit of lag… literal second after the Kenny challenge comes in he goes down
I think Middlesbrough will be certainly in the top of table this season if not close to playoff places if they can put some of those chances away . They’ve had 20 shots per game so far and throwing points away. Looking a tidy side.
That sending off reminds me of Norwich vs QPR when Emi Buendia got scythed down before he made a similar challenge which led to the red card. The QPR player only got a yellow for his and they were getting away with all sorts but Emi got sent off.
What a game! 🔥Incredible performance from Sainz but my man of the match was 100% Kellen Fisher. A few weeks ago I was wondering why he was starting over Stacy but now I know why!🔰
Classic championship match! Boro were superior for large parts of the match, but I reckon by the pen they must have thought "golly what does it take to finish these guys off!?"
It's quite extraordinary how Middlesbrough seem to get the officials on their side in every game against Norwich. Since we beat them in the play off final it seems there has been a contract made where they are not allowed to lose anymore games against us.
I think the substitutions that NC made when 3-1 down made a difference. But that's what makes this league exciting, if you ease off a bit ( like NC did after getting the lead - & how 'boro looked after cruising at 3-1, it can quickly turn ) . What's with the old Argentina shirts though ? !
Its pointless berating George Long. He made mistakes, but criticizing at this stage is pointless and will only hurt his morale. I believe he is a decent goalie. Good penalty save too!
He earned his spurs that game for sure, its a shame he got so much flak for the preston game, he made a lot of low ball saves in the stoke match which would have easily been a loss for us.
I don’t think he covered himself in glory with the first Middlesbrough goal but for the rest of the game he was in good form and made some top saves. Would’ve been man of the match on another day.
@@richardthresh3587I wouldn't say that. Coming back from 2-0 down and then today 3-1 down isn't losing points. If it was the other way around yes but it wasn't so don't say that
I think the ref can justify showing McLean red. In real time I thought he could be sent off but other than that moment he was brilliant with his vision and distribution from deep. Really happy with the point because it was another hard fought and deserved result from the boys. Under the Hoff, we don’t give up when we are losing and are becoming hard to beat. Some very promising things to take away from the game.
Look at it again - it was given not because your player touched him it was because of the ferocious way he lunged in with the tackle with his studs showing.
@@Londoneye57 how is that ferocious 😂 he literally slowed down just before the tackle and he was stretching for the ball. Boro getting favourable decisions again.
Weird how the most significant incident is absent from the highlights. Sargent was through on goal before being dragged back by a player who had already been booked towards the end of the first half. At 11 vs 10 it would have been a different game.
Borja Sainz with two brilliant strikes, but couldn't score the easy one. Boro player with two goals couldn't score the penalty. Seems like Norwich need to improve their defending. Three goals at home should be enough to win.
Marcodos...very good ...sainz on another planet at the moment...third ..goal was fishers ...the ball was over the line before the keeper ricocheted..it back ....A good fight back ..could have been 7.7..final score... Melanie 34 💚💛
Both feet off the ground, out of control. Endangering the safety of an opponent. I don’t think he can have many complaints. Terrific game of football though. Great advert for the best league in the world
As a Boro fan, I’ve got to say 10/10 shithousery for the two lads chest barging Conway after the penno miss. I just hope it was followed by shouts of ‘heads gone lads, they don’t want it’.
Boro were better in both those games, the major problem with us is putting the chances away. We create lots of chances but cant put the ball in the net and even when we do score we manage to hand the other team a goal, it's very frustrating being a Boro fan at the moment. Last night was a bit different as we were caught by two worldy's and a freak own goal. BTW The two goals were enough to justify a draw, both screamers. I do have a soft spot for Norwich, one of my friends supported them, sadly he passed but I did go with him to a couple of games when Norwich were playing in the European competition, I think it was in the 80's. Anyway good luck with the rest of the season, we may both be there at the end.
@@Londoneye57 As a long-time Norwich fan, I've learnt that being the better side in a match without getting 3 points doesn't cut it. That was a roller coaster of a match yesterday. Little confused with the penalty. Doesn't Cordoba have the ball and technically McGree come in for the tackle? Penalties and fouls are not my strong point
Get rid of McClean now ..as the whole team has to play round him...we have plenty of players who can do his job...Good goals by canaries..but defence far to open... Melanie 34 🌈
Game of the season so far. Sainz is insane. Enjoy him while it lasts.
Sainz continues to have his own goal of the season competition... 💛💚
Seriously good player Sainz, he could have had 4. What a game. Two good teams.

Borja is just a different class! We knew he had it in him but my god the lad can’t stop scoring worldies!
Proud of Norwich today!……. Sign of a good side coming together nicely.
They Wanted that home record for the fans.
The Ref got duped there for the penalty the player dragging his leg back... Magic from Sainz.

Referee standards are dropping faster than the football 🤷
Having now seen it on the highlights, red looks a little harsh and will have big implications with no Kenny for 3 matches
Best part is, he received medical treatment and the referee let him stay on the pitch and take the free kick despite the rules stating he should of been taken to the sidelines

New we were gonna bottle it as soon as Conway missed the penalty. What a game of football that was tho.

Sargent walked so Borja could run
