- This was my 4th run of the night. I jumped up my main jets and I was loosing about 3 tenth's and almost 10mph. Unfortunately, this was my best pass of the night. I guess I'll be changing those jets again!

The exhaust note is very different than other metric bikes. I love the way it sounds.
should go 10.80 in the quarter,which is fast,but not in the turbo world.The bike stock,with expert tuning,setup and the turbo should be in the 9 second range.I'm not so sure about that driveshaft?
have you done anything else to it other than the turbo, it sounds like theres a pretty hot cam in it

Unfortunately, that is correct... I had some jetting issues (and I'm not too good at launching yet) but I have run low 6.6's on an unprepped track. I tried going on up the jets and it sure didn't like it. If I could launch the bike, it is a lower 6-second 1/8 miler. This was probably my 15th run on this bike, so I have lots to learn!
It would have been helpful to know that this was 1/8TH MILE RUN!!! Am i supposed to know that???

Put a wider sticker tire and it would be quick but I’m not sure how much the drive train could take , one way to find out ! 😁
I had the first year V-max, used to run 7.10s stock. He aint kidding, it takes a lot of pratice on that bike to launch it. Hard to keep the front end down or keep it from bogging. If you pump that throttle at the light and get that turbo to spool up you'll launch way harder.
Stop stuffing around with carbs and get fuel injection....
Carbs would win a drag race before FI would.
They are finding carburetors give better peak performance than fuel injection and why they are used at the strip !
