This is the typical weaning process. I personally think Anna was being a wonderful mother. She did what she had to do to say No (it is kinda sad looking at the little guy asking momma Why?), but she was good with him, let him stay with her and protected him and even let him taxi around on her back. I've seen other mothers not wanting anything to do with the kid. Even yanking them off her back. Every time I see a baby clutching onto a leg while mom is walking reminds me of when I was young. I used to do that with my dad. lol
yea i did this to my mom she was bigger lady wore dresses n i hang on her leg n til mom made me get out from under her dress n leg no one knew i was there lol n u was really shy. up til i was in 5th grade my sister did most my talking and now look at me lol wont shut up most days lol (now i didnt hang onto her leg til 5th grade lol i had to stop bout 2nd grade lol) but yea i was really little and id hide perfectly hanging on her mainly left leg and under her dress it was below her knees and id peek out around her leg and i could see no problem and after awhile mom start nudging me and say come one julie ann u got come out from there my legs getting worn out and she would have to pull me out o wait am i a part monkey o no just thought about this lmao
Anna was very strict with her babies. She made them walk immediately, she did provide 2weeks of non stop breast milk and would later put them on a feeding schedule. Those babies after two weeks had some teeth and more coming daily. They would have a mouth full by 4 months. Anna taught them how to forage starting 2 weeks after birth. She taught them what they could eat safely and fed them once a day at night all night long up on a tree. That is why she ate all day in order to produce enough milk for all night. She cuddled them and fed the baby all night and start all over the next day. The only 2 that she could never control the tantrums on were on Anissa and Alba. The others she was able to stop there tantrums and obeyed her. They got the message. These 2 never got it. And that is why she disciplined them the most. All of Anna’s kids were independent very fast. Ariana was an exception due to Aaron. Aron could mistreat Ariana, but Anna could not. Ariana got weaned much later than the other kids due to her father Aron.

Anna isn't "stupid" VOs. She starts weaning at a very early age, because she's smart! When the other monkey moms are JUST STARTING to wean their babies, Anna's kids are almost completely weaned. Those older babies are ALSO a lot stronger, faster, LOUDER, more aggressive, and much more stubborn than Anna's kids were, when she was starting to wean them! The older babies are ALSO much more used to nursing whenever they want, so they get THAT much more upset, when forced to stop. Anna seems pretty smart to me -plus she gets you to constantly feed her, by just doing what she normally does, everyday. So, she doesn't seem like the stupid one, to me!

Anna was like many other mothers she nursed Alba till the next one was born. Then when Anissa died she actually started nursing Alba again. Then Alba disappeared. There are reasons mammals nurse their young. Making food for the newborn allows the mother to eat more herself. Milk is made specifically for the newborn. Long-tailed macaques nurse their infants for approximately a year and Anna did that. There is very little benefit to weaning them early.

Anna is the BEST Mom! Alba learned well and is thriving beautifully. Foraging with her Mom all day aside from the stalking from VO's who are constantly teasing her and giving her food that gets her in trouble. And she is still able to have milk at scheduled quality downtime at home in the trees. Nursing and grooming at naptime and bedtime.

Anna is a great mom who didn't let Alba become a monster. She wasn't torturing Alba, the people who kept tossing food to Anna were. At about 2 weeks old Anna didn't nurse Alba on the ground anymore. When Alba got really hungry you could tell bc she would cry quietly as she fought the urge to nurse and within minutes Anna brought her up a tree to nurse. She didn't spaz out in tantrums for milk unless the VOs kept throwing food to Anna so she wouldn't leave. This always caused Alba to get her ass beat bc she'd attempt to get milk.

Out of all the videos I have watched on here of moms trying to wean the babies, this mom has been the best. The others always give in, but this mom stuck with it and it looks like it is paying off. Those poor moms. I would go crazy

Only bad thing here, is that the baby is completely black which shows she is a very young infant, she needs milk. She can't even walk, as she gets older she will trot by mom. She does get fed but what Ana is doing is creating a monkey that will freak out every time mom moves an inch and she will constantly shreek. She has been rejected so much, that she will grow up with a very real fear of losing mom. Hopefully as she grows older she can get self confidence, so she can slap around her mom as was done to her. Horrible mama monkey.

I love Anna. She's such a strong mom. Unlike all the other moms that key their bears nurse constantly and complain that they nurse constantly 🤣🤗!! Anna is smart, she trains her girls from day one. The nurse when she says they can. She sets that schedule from the start. The girls know when Anna says mi she literally means NO!! They try if course and have their little tantrums but mostly they know what they can do and what they can't do. What I think is happening is that it is feeding time and the VO's are purposely feeding Anna to keep her there and not take the brat into the trees for quiet feeding time. That will make the brat act out especially if she wants a nap. You want to blame some one for this brats temper tantrum blame the VO's not Anna.
