Stunning! Thanks to Shaun translating these classic rock and pop songs into (mostly) classical guitar renditions we can see how favourably they compare in melodic and harmonic inventiveness to those in the classical canon. Bravo maestro!
Thanks for watching and commenting Alan, and that's an intelligent observation I think, as Queen songs in my opinion have many similarities to classical pieces. As I was arranging this one I was aware of Freddie's use of sequencing and a hat-tip Bach's key shemes. He was classically trained after all, and I think that's evident in both his piano playing and his composing
I really enjoy all of your arrangement, Sir! The way you play the guitar made me can't turn my eyes from the screen. Stay healty and keep it going, Sir!
Great version. Virtuoso and really brings out the melody. I hadn't noticed before how much that song sounds in parts like a classical guitar piece that was then converted to a rock song...! Excellent.
Thanks so much - that's the thing about Queen songs, they sound like they've been written for the Classical guitar. Freddie had a classical piano upbringing, I'm sure that has something to do with it
Amazing! I believe it was I, about six months ago,;who, after hearing you play "Don't Stop Me Now" and "Somebody to Love" asked you about playing "Killer Queen". It was certainly worth the wait 👍
Thanks so much Frederic, I didn't plan to arrange this one as - well, Edgar Cruz got there before me and in my opinion his work can't be bettered - but I always felt it would be better in this key so I gave it a go and I'm pleased you enjoyed it :-)
Another stellar cover! Love this channel and all the hard work you put into these amazing covers!! You never fail to make me smile during this pandemic, stay safe and I hope your week is going well!!
You, sir, are absolutely wonderful. I've only been following you for a years, but throughout that time you've always held a place among my top three favourite acoustic guitarists. Have you ever considered taking a stab at "Babe, I'm Gonna Leave You" by Led Zeppelin?
Some say German strings, some say Korean guitar cut from the cedar ,but I think none of them.what is needed is a hard work, good musical material and an old British school of guitar😁
Why arent you making tutorials of how to play these amazings songs made? Share your knowledge to the world, dont let it buried it. And people will make you rich with even more views here on youtube.

@@ironmonger100 Well it certainly worked. I play it in its original key but that's because it's just rythem guitar and vocals.
