That was kinda massively lame compared to the novel. In the novel his spell consumed nearly half of the whale’s body, but it this it just looked like it did nothing. Not to mention the way the novel described it, I imaged the spell would look more like some sort of demonic bow made of magic being summoned, then shooting a magic black hole arrow, not just a random beam attack
