I actually think this microphone is the absolute best microphone for most mid to low range voices. If you have a high pitched voice or you just want something a bit brighter sounding, try out something like the SD-1. The UA microphone comes with hemisphere which can essentially emulate different kinds of microphones and boost certain frequencies. That being said, it still has some limitations in my opinion if you are trying to get a deep vocal sound in the lower range like the Freq spectrum in this video illustrates for the SM7B.
Even to most basic amature producer knows that you eq your recordings to make it sound the best, nevermind the mic used. Music production aplies for all streamers and content creators so learn some. The knowledge is free, the techniques are amazing and will make everything better. The SM7B is quite flat in its freq response and that i what you want for a vocal mic. It's amazing. Some high end, vintage tube mics might have an freq curve that makes Celine Dion sound even more amazing or breathy but any character given from a mic with more character is almost impossible to eq out and that goes for both the good and the bad and to much of "a good thing" can ruin the mix of a song. An important rule of thumb with sound and EQ is that you don't add freqs to a sound source, only take away. You can get a away with it if you use the right thinking and techniques but the lesson is that you can't add something that isn't there to begin with. Stop giving bad advice and learn the techniques instead. Here's a first free trick. I your voice sounds to boomy, don't add treble, reduce the low mids to make the other freqs cut through more. If your song is lacking energy and umph in the kick drum, don't raise the level but try and reduce the bass guitar which uses the same freqs as the kick drum. Music or sound production is science of sound and it's alot of fun and you'll learn som much that is useful in other fields aswell.
