This is completely opinionated but I think she has bulimia. She eats a lot more than a lot of mukbangers, her teeth are obviously rotting and falling out due to frequent vomiting, it’s tooth decay. She stays super skinny because, well, it’s an eating disorder. And she might have the cuts and bruises because of cutting and abusing herself.

Personally, I think she is suffering from an eating disorder (More specifically, bulimia nervosa). The marks on her lips could be due to the stomach acid drying out her lips if she purges via vomiting. And for the supposed bruise on her hand, I think it could be from her purging, and her teeth marking the skin on the hand and bruising it, called 'Russell's Sign'. And contrary to popular belief, it is possible for people to lose weight (although I would not suggest it) via b/p'ing, which could explain why she looks much skinnier. And her rotten tooth could also be a result of stomach acid, as it can damage your teeth. If I said something incorrect, feel free to tell me, but other than that I believe she's suffering from bulimia.

That sounds nothing like "I'm trying to kill you," people are just being fooled by the power of suggestion after reading that guy's comment. Much like an EVP, which is just random noise but if you put a caption on it people will swear they hear it. That doesn't even make sense as a thing to say in that situation. If it was some kind of threat or verbal abuse, that's a strange way to phrase it. And why would this person whisper it so quietly that she probably couldn't even hear it over the sound of chewing? And why do it while the camera is rolling and risk exposing themselves?

The most disturbing thing to me is the fact that all that expensive seafood must cost hundreds of dollars (per video) and I know that she is most likely throwing all of it up right after filming ( I was bulimic for 20 years, I see all the signs in her videos). I truly believe she IS asking for help, but not for the reasons people think.

She’s suffering from Bulimia, and all those videos she’s filmed is while she’s having a binge episode. Binge eating is hard to explain unless you’ve actually been through it- it’s almost as though all your sense and rational thoughts leave your mind and all you can think of is FOOD and eat massive amounts in a short space of time. It’s almost savage in nature

I had to brave up to watch this. I’ve an extreme and irrational fear of seafood. It started as a child then later on in life I had a mouthful of fish and had an anaphylactic reaction ( funny how our bodies ‘warn’ us of foods we’re allergic to). I’d heard of this situation and looked to your channel to watch it. I’ll admit I was horrified and scared of the massive quantities of seafood but your analysis of her clips is great so thankyou.

Bulimia actually can be it. Bulimics make themselves throw up, which obviously damages the teeth. It can be a reason why she lost a tooth in the mukbang. I am not a professional but it's my take on this
@True Slav Gopnik As I've mentioned before, it could be bulimia, or it could be what's called "Other Specified Feeding or Eating Disorder" or OSFED. OSFED is when one's behaviors cause clinically significant distress, but otherwise don't meet the full diagnostic criteria of a specific eating disorder, in this case, bulimia.
From what we know, she eats large amounts of strange food all at once, has dental problems, and is skinny. This could point towards purging, but could also be she restricts caloric intake at all other times, abuses laxatives, over exercises, pica (like eating cotton balls), ruminating (which is when someone vomits, and then they consume their vomit), etc. Not to mention, she could also be malnourished by avoiding certain food groups altogether, and her health will naturally decline if she consistently doesn't get certain vitamins/minerals.

the reason for all the wierd stuff in the kate yup videos is: if these were just regular mukbang videos they wouldnt get as many views. they started off as a regular mukbang channel but decided to capitalise on the mystery and theory and arg type stuff

Yeah I agree, plus if it were true I would think the kidnapper would be in control of the account, what is posted and written. She/he would screen all of this before posting. They would be in control as this is how it would go down, because if they gave her the phone/computer she could ask for help in a blatant way or call 911 all the time. If you call 911 multiple times and not say anything they will send someone to investigate.

I cannot express how much I don't understand how people enjoy hearing and watching people eating. It makes no sense to me. No sense at all.
Those bruises could've been caused by accident, not necessary by someone else. If she bumped into something, like a doorframe or some furniture, that would leave a bruise.
About bruises disappearing in the next video - the video in which they appeared came out at June 21st 2019 and the next video came out at August 15th 2019.
In the video where they appeared you can see that they're brown instead of blue, meaning they've almost healed and fading away. If I get a bruise it usually dissapears in 1-2 weeks, and the time span between those 2 videos is 2 months, so idk why you said that it's odd that they've dissappear after 1 video.
