I just got my radio flyer discovery today and wanted to say that the wagon handle IS adjustable and does get longer than that! There’s a little silver button on the side of it and it makes it much longer and easier to pull! Great video!
Yes! It does, mine didn’t extend easily, but my husband was able to loosen it enough to extend easier. Thanks for watching! I hope you enjoy your wagon, I really love the zip down feature, it’s very unique compared to other stroller wagon brands!
They must have updated the manual because loading the car seat into the ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxIG_q-ZqgbzYXwbeApK3AybegDUy4f2fF double stroller was mentioned in the manual (unlike previous comments/reviews). The undercarriage basket is quite large but it is difficult to access when the back rider is reclined, however my toddler usually doesn't fall asleep in the stroller these days so I haven't had an issue. I was amazed by how smooth the ride was and how easily I was able to maneuver the stroller in small spaces. My toddler loves that she can see her baby sister (see photo) during the ride :) Plus you can't beat the price! I have only loaded it once in my car and it is fairly light but my mother wouldn't be able to lift it in.
thank you so much for your video. you deserve 10x more views and subs. I have watched and read countless reviews and your video is by far the most helpful. especially pushing and pulling the wagons on the sand.
I had a Keenz, Jeep, Baby Trend MUV, Evenflo Pivot Xplore, and now this Radio Flyer Discovery. This Discovery is by far the best and most convenient one for us and our 1 yo and 4yo. It folds more compact than the rest that I had. It feels as sturdy as the Keenz (Pivot Xplore and Baby Trend MUV is not a traditional wagon type) Discovery pros: - Lightweight - Fold much more compact - Sturdy and not flimsy as other models not listed here - This type of canopy is better than the other Radio Flyer models Discovery cons: - Has to take apart two canopies when you want to fold compact in your trunk - Doesn't come with a tray or an easy way to attach a tray for kids to eat snacks - Lack of storage compare to the other wagon stroller But the pros outweigh the cons for me because of the compact fold and sturdiness. I used to have a minivan and I don't mind the bigger stroller, but now that I drive an SUV, space is lacking, therefore this Discovery is the best one for us and it cost $160 + tax.
Hello! Thank you for your time making these wonderful reviews! So helpful to see how well they all stack up. My granddaughter is very tall for her age and is outgrowing her stroller but still wants to sit. 19 mos at time of this post. A wagon may be a solution for our walks to the park.
Thanks for watching! I do hope it’s helpful! Yes, by 18mo my daughter was less and less interested in being strapped into a traditional stroller and much preferred the freedom of a stroller wagon!
This is such a helpful comparison! We have an Evenflo Pivot Xplore that we LOVE for our 6 and 3 year old... however, I don't want to lug it through the airport for our upcoming trip since it folds so awkwardly. I also wanted something we could possibly squeeze a third kid into when we visit the kids' cousin. I thought we might get the Larktale and just replace the Evenflo... but it seems too big for our everyday use. The radioflyer might just be a second wagon we buy just for travel and to fit in our second car... Do you think we can squeeze three kids (small 6 year old and two three year olds) in the radio discovery?
Thank you for watching 🙏🏼 I think they could fit, but it would be a tight squeeze. If they’re okay with sharing space then I think it’s fine, but you’ll definitely be lacking storage space squeezing 3 in there.
The larktale wind and rain cover will definitely fit the radio flyer discovery wagon with room to spare since the larktale canopies are so much larger. So it won’t fit like a glove, but can get the job done! You’ll just have excess coverage.
I am trying to decide whether to purchase a w2 elite from fb marketplace for 475 which comes with parent console, snack tray, and rain cover or buy a different wagon stroller. My twins are 8 months. I have a honda pilot and would prefer all three rows up or at least only half of the third row down. Thoughts?
I think that’s a great price for the W2 elite. I think it should fit in your trunk with half the third row down. But if your kids are on the bigger side, the W2 elite might not be roomy enough. The Keenz XC will give you more space and will have better wheels than the W2 elite, but is also pricier so that is something to consider. Feel free to message me on IG if you want to have more discussion on this since I know it’s a large purchase.
Yes, usually I resell or donate the ones that don’t work for my family. We only keep a core fleet of wagons/strollers. I usually post my sale items on the facebook stroller/wagon groups first.
I can’t respond here with photos, but the radio flyer has a much slimmer profile than the larktale because the walls of the radio flyer doesn’t have the framing that the larktale has. Plus the larktale has an additional basket thag the radioflyer doesn’t have.
Which do you recommend for a 4 yr old and for all terrain? Trying to decide on the Larktale or the pívot explorer. And do you have discount codes thanks
Of the two you mentioned, I would recommend the Larktale as your 4yr old would likely outgrow the evenflo quicker. There will be more space in the Larktale, plus they are currently 30% off until Jan 31st. Use code LK-AUTUMN20 at checkout for 30% off the entire Larktale website (minus open box items).
I actually really liked the radio flyer wagon because of how lightweight it was. And I especially love the zip down side. I think it would be okay for the Zoo and apple picking depending on the terrain. I wouldn’t use it on rugged terrain on a daily basis and I don’t think it could handle anything like gravel/rocks for prolonged periods of time. But for its pricepoint I think it’s not a bad option! There is also the build your own radio flyer wagons where you can upgrade the wheels and I think that might be better to handle terrains.
@@autumnapproved9057 thank you! I did see that on their website but, I actually found the wagon at this liquidation store? For $75! I didn’t want to buy it without really knowing if it was worth it. I just don’t like that if I did want to upgrade to air tires it’s not an option with this specific wagon (I checked the radio flyer site) thank you!
The larktale caravan is, the radio flyer is not. It can go over little bumps and even be pulled through sand, but I don’t think the wheels are capable of that type of terrain long term.
Justification on how much one wants to spend on their strollers or wagons is very subjective. Just like a car you drive or house you buy. It will always be subjective. But thanks for watching!

Was wondering if our new discovery could make it to our favorite beach spot and it looks like it can! Thanks for this video
You’re welcome! Glad it was helpful! The radio flyers are so lightweight that it does pretty well when pulling it through soft sand.

Hello 👋🏾 Great review! Do you know if the Larktale Caravan wind and rain cover fits the Radio Flyer Discovery Wagon?

@@autumnapproved9057 Albeebaby has the wonderfolds on sale. So I have narrowed it down to w2 luxe, w4 elite, or larktale caravan
Can you do a review between the discovery and the City luxe? I’m stuck I don’t know which one to get.
I don’t think I’ve ever heard of a City Luxe wagon? I’ve sold my Discovery wagon since this video, but can try to answer any questions you might have.
thank you!
You’re welcome! Thanks for watching! ❤️
What do u do with all the wagons ? Do u resale ? If so I’m interested 😭
Yes, usually I resell or donate the ones that don’t work for my family. We only keep a core fleet of wagons/strollers. I usually post my sale items on the facebook stroller/wagon groups first.
The pull handle on the red flyer actually goes higher. It has a Lil silver button on the black bar u have to push in to go higher
Yes, I think I put that in my description box that I figured out it goes higher 😆 definitely the early stages of my review videos 😅😅
The pull handle is adjustable on the radio flyer
Yes, my particular wagon just didn’t want to adjust for me, but I did clarify in the description box that it does adjust! Thanks ☺️
Very good 😊
Thank you for watching! 🙏🏼
This Is a excellent video
Thank you! 🙏🏼
On the radio flyer, what is the height from the seat to the top of the side wall?
It’s 11inches from the seat to the top of the side wall.
Can you do them side by side folded up and unfolded?
I can’t respond here with photos, but the radio flyer has a much slimmer profile than the larktale because the walls of the radio flyer doesn’t have the framing that the larktale has. Plus the larktale has an additional basket thag the radioflyer doesn’t have.
If you DM the IG I can send you a pic of them side by side.

No, this wagon cannot upgrade tires. BUT for $75 thats a steal! Totally worth $75! Especially now that prices are going up on all wagons!
Is this all terrain?
The larktale caravan is, the radio flyer is not. It can go over little bumps and even be pulled through sand, but I don’t think the wheels are capable of that type of terrain long term.
You can just order a custom radio flyer
Yes there are many radio flyer options to choose from! I specifically chose this one because it looks similar to the Larktale aesthetic ☺️
Thanks, super helpful! Especially like that you gave the measurements!

I don’t think anything justifies $500 for a wagon
