Grandsire Triples at Aldwick, West Sussex

An audio and video extract of a quarter peal of Grandsire Triples, rung on Tuesday 30th May 2023 at St Richard's Church, Aldwick. The bells here are a bright sounding, musical peal of eight which round the back handle like a dream but round the front are a little flighty but are easy to get used to once you know what you are doing.
The bells here were cast by a mixed range of founders, with the majority being John Taylor and Co but also the two trebles were cast by Whitechapel in 2006/2007 and the 6th bell was cast in 1933 by Gillett and Johnston. They blend together well however you can take apart the Taylor and Whitechapel bells quite easily! Overall they sound lovely! Enjoy the video!
