- I set up and give you a look at what could be considered the Best Dart Board Light Around.
The One80 Illumina provides clear vision to dramatically reduce the shadow effect on your dartboard.
Quick and easy to assemble and features a patented optical lens for excellent light distribution on your dartboards surface. The 4000k light provides natural daylight style lighting which is comfortable to the eye and ideal for reducing reflection.
The Illumina can be fitted to the wall without the use of the vertical back bar. Meaning that you can fit the Illumina above your favourite dartboard cabinet too.

This is the light I had been waiting for after months of looking at overpriced ring light systems. I've had mine for 5 months or so and it puts out plenty of light. It was easy to install with the included hardware. This product is well made too. Totally worth the 80 bucks or so I paid.
Hi Matt I've had one of these for about two months and its the best light i have ever seen its straight but no shadows its just the right size for if you have a scoreboard next to your board to illuminate that at the same time as your board.
The switch is in just the right place and ive hooked mine up to ALEXA so she switches it on and off for me. i also found it workes better on the steel tip board and it has really strong magnets on the board top connector adjusting it was a bit of trial and error so i have secured mine with further screws direct to the wall so i can turn the board and replace it without any messing with the light. Cheers D Dave...
I completely agree. Had it for a few weeks now and I couldnt imagine having one of those ugly rings around the board now fantastic light by one80
That's a good point I overlooked about lighting the scoreboard/out chart to left and right of light. I was eyeing the new mission 270 with the cutout but I think I like this traditional style
Nice review Matt. As i understand it, One80 will be producing a different plate/bracket to accommodate players who use a different hanging system for their board (other than the traditional metal hanging bracket).
I hope so. I absolutely love the 180 rota system and would want to be able to use that with the light.
Wow, a dartboard lighting review without a single dart on the board - I couldn't even imagine that before! Dude, with all these lighting systems, the point is that there are no more annoying shadows on the board. So if I'm supposed to buy a system that, surprisingly, doesn't go around the whole board, then nothing interests me as much as whether this system can also eliminate all shadows ... For the next video you have to pay attention to the microphone settings, that does hurt in my ears! The music in the credits is calm and beautiful, you should have put it under the whole video instead of the annoying one.
By the way I appreciate the criticism and yes I should have thrown a dart, I can't wait to see your first video.
@@AtomicDarts aye watched a few light 'reviews' trying to decide what one to get. Come on UA-cam and learn diddly squat. You got your view tho and I got my time wasted 👏👏👏
You need to show darts in the board so we can see shadows
How far off the wall does it stick out? I have a soft board system and trying to figure out if it would block my monitor I have installed above it.
Also does it produce shadows in the end with darts thrown?
The length is approximately 13.5 in, as for shadow depends on your board, the gran board does have some shadow bast on how the segments sit down in the board. But it really is not noticable.
How wide is the light?
Trying to figure out a good lighting system of a dartboard cabinet.
Sorry for the late reply just under 28in
How high did you mount screws for use with Nexus? Trying to figure out if have the ceiling height or not.
I have it at about 1 inch 3/4 off the top of the board to the bottom of the hanger.
@@AtomicDarts thanks for the review and reply. Just ordered one now for Nexus cause of the review you did.
Another hole in the wall...no way, only lighting system fited on dartboard, or surround make a sance.
Looks rubbish , I much prefer the bulls Termote 2:0
