She's right by Rhonda not being through wars. She clearly lacked stamina and was unfamiliar with getting bruised badly.

She made Ronda taste pain. Tested her heart resolve for fighting a worthy opponent. Ronda had never experienced anything like that. "A Real Fight." Getting hit. Things not going as planned. Holly has been in those battles. It's really what makes the great fighters fight. The bully got bullied by the nice girl. That is actually probably mentally tougher than her. Like Tyson was never the same after Douglas. I don't think Ronda will be as well. She is still good. But not invincible. She better train for a while before getting back in the cage with Holly. Jon Jones trains in same camp.

Even in her training, there sparres weren't allowed to hit her hard it at all. Were made to sign a contract to follow such rules as to not hit her hard or at all and to take a beating! And strictly not to talk about about the sparring!
She is so smooth and calm yet galvanized and sharp. Even though I don't follow this sport I give her lots of respect.

This demonstrates just how much of a one dimentional/one trick pony fighter Rousey is. Holm knew what Ronda would do before Ronda did it.

A true champion and warrior. If anything I give her more respect after watching her get choked out but still throwing punches as she went under that's a lady with the heart of a warrior. Hope she has more success but mostly hope she retires free from any serious injures #GoHollyGo.

He talks like that to a lot of people. When he's talking rapid fast is when it's on topics he's familiar with and confident about. The fact he talks like this is testament to the fact that he's not pretending to know something he's not that familiar with. What would you want... some asshole who thinks he knows something that he doesn't really know?

Prior to fighting Holly Holm Ronda Rousey had never faced an opponent who was larger than her, at least as strong as her, could not be manhandled, had great agility, footwork, and speed, and could escape from an armbar. Nor had Rhonda ever been punched repeatedly in an MMA fight. She was unprepared for what Holly Holm brought to the table.
Cowherd seems genuinely interested in her responses, or he's just admiring Holly's majestic blonde mane. Have mercy.
The media wants her to talk shit and say how good she is. Wise she is to be so humble. If she does ever lose in mma, she wont look like an ass.
She's being incredibly gracious and circumspect. Not evasive, though. Having participated in karate tournaments years ago. Kata and freestyle. When fighting freestyle there's a point at which you KNOW you've got your opponent. You still maintain respect because things can turn very quickly. HH had that moment. She just wouldn't allow Cowherd to get her to say it.

I just don't know why they had her as such an underdog. Yeah , she wasn't UFC breed, but her boxing stats where some of the best in the world. I don't believe that the real fighting "know it alls" could of had her at such a disadvantage. Not to mention, look at Holly and look at the rest of Rhonda's opponents. Which one was as physically imposing as she was? Which one had a fighting record in any form of fighting entertainment like the one Holly has? I think people trumped up Rhonda and the lack of respect shown Holly in the beginning of the fight was well paid back through out the match.
Defend against the arm bar. Game over. Rousey goes from UFC to WWE.

when athletes are interviewed by geeks...lol When anyone in a sport is concentrating on it, the crowd and back round noise get filtered out. I've experienced this numerous times playing ball and hockey.
about the last sentence: she present nothing different. same old cheap kickboxing. i have seen that gazillion times. what is different a judo practitioner like ronda dominating boxers and kickboxers and other martial artists. i have mad respect for that.
on the other hand, judo means "gentle way" and she was way too cocky. i don't have respect for that.
Sorry but about all these women do 'roids. .. LOOK at their faces (Cupcake might have been an exception) - They're *puffy* .. Abnormally. (Though Holly's face, these two years nowhere near as puffy, and mannish as Amanda Nunes' face.)
