Wading Small Rivers with Big Beetles // Day 4 Patagonia Day-by-Day Series

- Every Sunday we'll drop another video as a part of a "day by day" series from the trip Joe Rotter @ Red's recently hosted in Patagonia. It's raw, real, and a fishing-focused documentary of a week at Cinco Rios and Estancia Del Zorro lodges where we love fishing and hosting trips.
This 7-day series highlights lakes, small rivers, big rivers, and spring creeks in Patagonia. Filmed daily and all in a single week of fishing. Day 4 we waded small water for big browns and rainbows. Fast water and technical casting made for tough, but awesome, fishing!

Some sweet casting by Joe... loved seeing him tackle some strong water and pull fish out of there.
Thanks Chris! Big fun right?!
No thanks, way too crowded for me. 🤪 Man, add that to my bucket list of trips.
Bucket list for sure...no regrets. Beautiful scenery, wonderful people, delicious food, and fantastic fishing!
Great video 👍 Beautiful river, insects and fish 🪳🪲🦗 - the two brown trout at 13:57 and 20:00 both have a dark (bluish) spot in the skin behind the eye - they might be family related in such a little river 🐟🐠
Spot on...all around beautiful! Glad you liked the video!
Those streams do remind me of NZ. The scenery is outrageous there in Argentina, Joe. You’re a lucky guy. Nice video.
Thank you for watching. It's hard to put into words how great the scenery is. Lucky for sure!
Isnt Argentina
That is some straight up "A River Runs Through It" water
😂..yeah
Exactly!
Excellent video including tutorials 👍
Thank you! It was a fun one to film.
How were those waders hiking all day? Wish you had carbons?
The Carbon waders for hot weather, cold water/cold mornings would be more ideal for sure. They breath incredibly well during periods of exertion. As of today, if I had to choose (1) set it would be the BackEddy wader. Even over the zipper model. Just my 2 cents!
Hey, I’ve been watching the series front to back so far and it seems you were having a blast! It’s really making me want to be there enjoying the scenery, the fishing, the food. Oh, y mi Espanol es mas mal tambien. Perhaps one day… thanks for taking us along.
Thanks! Always having fun, every day fly fishing is good no matter if it's in Patagonia or the local watering hole.
@@redsflyshop I agree. I’m heading to Belize tomorrow morning. A good time lies just ahead, but I don’t want to jinx anything! I have a huge fly box stuffed with streamers, crabs and shrimp patterns plus two small boxes for bonefish. Fingers crossed…
Such fun water to fish!
I agree!
this video is nuts.
Thanks for watching!
My favorite one of this series so far. Appreciated the tutorials and tips.
Thank you! Appreciate the follow and the positive vibes.
