Excellent information and believe it is so much more advantageous to players then most "how to win" videos. Staying consistent is a big one. I see so many people complain about how a casino is "cutting back on comps"...."not appreciating customers"....etc. In many cases this is because they were going less frequently and spending more, so the comps/offers were rolling in. Then they start taking advantage of those comps/offers and visiting more often but spending less. That's why their offers decreased. Too many players put more emphasis on tier level (i.e. yearly spending) then the casinos do. For example, someone that goes 4x per year and spends 2k each visit (8k yearly) is going to get better offers then someone that goes every week and spends $300 (over 15k yearly).
I am a $1.25 bet player whether I’m playing for 30 minutes or 8 hours. You would be amazed how you can make a decent jackpot that’s almost to the tax bracket(under $1199).
Gentlemen, thank you for the great information! Something else that I have done to maximize comps since I became a diamond member at CET, check other casinos for "tier matching" promotions. I went to AC last year and it really came into play there: 1. Bally's - Went to Black Card Status and received $100 celebration dinner without playing a cent. 2. Borgota - Went to Gold card status and got some free play and discount food offers. Also hit a $1K Lightning Link major on a $1.25 bet. 3. Hard Rock - Went to Icon status, free food and visit to their VIP lounge. 4. Ocean - Went to Prime status, free play and visit to their VIP lounge. Finally at the shops at Tropicana, all of their stores were redeeming reward credits at 1-1. Got my wife a nice Fossil watch. You never know what a casino will offer, was in Lexington, KY where they have a "racino", they tier matched and gave me $150 slot play, I never went there before and have not been back since.
That's a good idea if you will never decide you want to switch your play from CET to one of those other casinos. You will lose all those elevated matched status at the end of the year. Then if you ever decide you want to shift the majority of your play from CET to one of those other properties you're more than likely going to have to spend your way back to an elevated status. I prefer to hold off getting tier matched in case I ever decide I want to maintain an elevated tier status at a different property. I'm not saying it's a bad idea but that short term gain could end up having unintended long term consequences that should be considered.
@@kevinb4079 I am diamond + at CET and two big reasons I stay there are the many different properties they have. I stopped going to Vegas years ago and I love going to Biloxi, AC. Tahoe, etc. Later we are going to Black Hawk, CO and staying there for the 1st time. 2nd reason I love Caesars is my wife has an emotional support dog and he has been welcome at all Caesars properties we have visited where MGM, Boyd's, etc., won't take him. In fact, we are going on our first Caesars Air trip soon and our dog can fly with us. So Caesars is my place to play, but I will take advantage of other good offers another casino may have.
@@stevengolden9009 I'm Platinum at CET and should hit Diamond before the end of the year because there's so many ways to earn on the CET rewards network. I do like having the option of playing and earning rewards at so many different properties. We mostly go to AC (3 CET properties) but someday we will take them up on one of their offers to stay at a different property. Since Tropicana (where we have been staying for many years now) moved to the CET rewards network though, offers and perks are not as good. So far they haven't made any cutbacks that are deal breakers for us. All we really care about is getting a decent room, some free play and some reward points we use for dinning. However, if they cut back much more I could decide to shift my play elsewhere in AC or closer to home. I already tier matched at a few places and sort of regret it now. That's why I cautioned against doing it. It wouldn't be a huge deal to start over at another property as I don't really play for or use most tier level perks. My ADT should get me decent offers on it's own at any property. But starting off tier matched is still better then earning your way up from the bottom.
More curious about which places have the best reward programs. You can do whatever you want at Caesars properties in AC and Vegas and your rewards are still terrible in relation to how much you play. It's 1 comp dollar for every $500 in slot play. At their average RTP of 90% in those areas that's $1 for every $50 in losses (on average).
My husband and I both have the same amount for our bankroll and we both just play slots. Our May flyers from Pechanga were identical except mine gave me an offer for a “breakfast station” appliance, which was terrific. Why didn’t my husband get the same offer?
Hi Gents, If you are staying 3 nights, 4 days at a property. Is there a difference between $3000 coin in over one day and zero the rest (don't swipe card on zero days), or $1000 for each of 3 days? Also, does check in and check out days count so this trip would be 4 gaming days? Thanks
My opinion only, but you are probably better off spending 1K each of the days (day of check in - day before checkout). This is certainly true if you are planning to use any other comps/offers during any non-gambling days (i.e. room was comped, using free play, using comp dollars to eat/shop etc.) or are earning points in other ways (i.e. for your room fees, shopping etc) as this would equate to using your card. They will know your there earning/using comps but not gambling. You also need to think about what comps/offers you want to use in the future (e.g. comp'ed stay) and how that will change things because now your using comps that you may not have used last visit. Remember consistency is very important. Every time you change your behavior by using or not using comps or spending more or less, it can effect future offers.
As a gauge, $5,000+ coin in per day during my 7 day stay gave me $200 free play with 2-4 day free room offers at Caesars properties. However. 2 of 7 days were with minimal play times. Lost $7K during this visit. Wish they used actual loss vs Theo to generate offers. I will no longer use my card on those minimal play days.
It is my understanding that you have to be careful at Caesars properties, because even though you may not use your card when playing they might still count it as a visit if you use your card anywhere else on the property. So, for example, if you use it for free parking, they would probably count it as a visit even though you didn't play.
Is not using your card ever advantageous in the situation where the casino wants your play back? We have 2 local casinos. I'm not going at all to casino 1, after having gone there 4 times a month for years. Do they ever try to lull you back with extra freeplay after not going for a while?
In my experience no. There's really no fooling or taking advantage of the casinos in the long run. Sometimes casinos may have marketing campaigns to bring in more traffic but I would never play without using my card hoping they will try to lure me "back" with better offers. Always play with your card unless you are going to gamble substantially less then you normally would when at the casino on a given day. My suggestion for you is not going to the casino 4 times each month and instead go once per month but spend 4 times as much. For example, instead of going 4x's a month and spending $300 each time, go 1x a month and spend $1200. This will increase your ADT substantially which should result in better offers. This will probably also allow you to play higher denomination slots (nickles instead of pennies, dollars instead of quarters etc) which typically have better payback %'s.

One other thing I would pass along... My friends and I use each other's free slot play if we go to casinos... It's nice because we share but you just got to be careful you don't hit a jackpot because some places won't pay you.. one thing I would say is don't ever just use your free slot play when you go to a casino and then don't use anything beyond that.... Some places will blackball your card and freeze your account or other places will just lower your offers if you just use your free slot play and don't play any money beyond that... Which makes sense because it just looks bad that you're going there just to use the free slot play even though you earned it
My rule is always bet with my own funds at least 2 to 3x's whatever free play I'm using. So If use $100 free play I'll be sure to wager at least another $200 of my own funds. I also try to wager at least the full rate of my room if I have comped room. So if I get comped a $350 a night room I'll be sure to wager at least $350 per night I'm staying and getting comped. I usually have a larger daily bankroll then needed to "cover" my comps anyway. BTW I mostly stay/play at Caesars properties in AC. Consistency is key if you want to continue to get reliable comps. A big mistake I see people make is cutting back on their daily spending when they start getting comps. I find it best if I treat comps as extras (free play is "extra play", comp room means I can have a larger bankroll etc). In short, if you are "saving" money by using comps then mostly likely your comps will decrease.

Now Caesers took over the marketing there... You get absolutely nothing and it takes forever to earn comps... We played all night a couple weeks ago and got like 3 or 4 dollars between both of us which is totally pathetic... Also now that Caesars runs Tropicana you have to pay like $30 or $35 to valet park.. unless you have one of the highest cards... When Tropicana was doing it it was based on the play on your card... Which if you had enough play it would be for free... I love the Tropicana but I might go to hard Rock or Ocean in A.C.. just seems like Caesars totally ruined the experience down there
Also frequent the Trop. I agree the cutbacks have been felt. However I don't see much of a change in how many reward credits I earn. I think it's always been 1 comp point for every $5 wagered on most slots, but I could be wrong. It could be other factors like using more free play (don't earn anything while using those) or not cycling through as many wins (i.e. not winning as much and putting it back in). Also not going when they reward credit multiply promotion going on. Have you changed the type of machines you play? Not going to deny they have cut back though. If you can get Diamond status you will get free valet and resort fees waived. But it is possible another casino's reward program may better suit you even if it's not necessarily better. If it is better there is nothing to guarantee it will remain better and you may end up saying the same thing about that casino down the road.

The statement that casinos only care about high rollers is ridiculous. Just came back from the Cinco de Mayo weekend at Pechanga in California. The place was packed with people getting their giveaway “breakfast station” appliance. Obviously, they’re not all “high rollers.” Lots of older Vietnamese and Phillipino and Asian players. But I would not call the majority of them as high rollers. They’ve learned how to play in order to get the comps. I qualified for the appliance, but my husband didn’t.
@@DrSchor Not true. The next month we both got the giveaway that we wanted. There are tons of couples who both get the giveaways. On the day they were giving away “breakfast station” I asked the lady how many were they planning to give away, and she said there were 75,000 units and there would be 2 working shifts to hand out to the qualified members. This month,July, we both got the same exact offers. and will decide what we want 😊😊
And our mailbox gets double offers (one for my husband and another for me) every month from all the different casinos because our senior center does day trips to them.
Theres no way you get 20-40 percent of your loss in comps...I played slots and tables this past Saturday at a casino.... brought 800 with me...got up like 400-500 and ended up losing everything...I had 7 dollars on my card for comps!! Lol thats pathetic... Now maybe if I ask for a comp from table games I might get $20 or $30... There's no way I'm getting 20% to 30% in comps like he said
Casinos should be an occasional fun experience like a theme park. I see from this video that there is a huge gambling problem out there if Casinos are expecting you to show up regularly. It’s unfortunate. 😩
I think it depends on. We play once a month at our Southern California casino. There are lots and lots of locals and seniors who play their bankroll regularly enough to get the comps and giveaways without going overboard. Many many low rollers who enjoy playing lower bets for longer play time. They’ve learned how to make the most from their bankroll and earn the giveaways. So for many, it’s entertainment with meal credits and a little free play.

How long has josh been with your channel.
He's not with our channel. We just interview him sometimes. He's GREAT!
@@TheJackpotGents Yes, he is very knowledgeable when it comes to casinos.
I qualified for the appliance, but my husband didn’t.
the reason you received the offer and your husband did not is because you have the same address. it is one offer per family, of course

Not true.
There's no way I'm getting 20% to 30% in comps like he said
They said theoretical loss not your actual losses
Your bounceback offers will be better based on that particular play
@@richardtaylor5948 what do you mean bounce back?
@@PorcupineTreeEOJ what do you mean by theoretical?
@@flyhigh7918 those are future offers that will reflect your current play in order to get you back on property.
TIPS = aka BS
What is BS about it
Explain yourself Infrared?
Well Steve really (he/him) come on. Don't help them using your platform for wrong Grammer we are to old for this crap. I used to like your channel but I will have to stop watching.
Not sure what Telegram me means. I think it might be a small way of taking a shot at my age. If I'm wrong I am sorry inadvance. If I am correct I am comfortable wanting to live in the world the way it was before this craziness. I will not use they for an individual if I do "they" better have a mouse in thier pocket.
