I kind of wish he actually made a Thomas video, because if he actually did, he probably would of done research.
To be fair though, he was speaking of the top of his head.
he wasnt wrong though
The Skinny Controller, Matpat.
STILL waiting on the thomas lore theory
If the engines did their job, there would be no show. The whole point is that they do mess up, and have to learn a lesson.
If anyone thinks Thomas is dark, think about what happens to steam engines who don’t live on Sodor, and that the two diesels Arry and Bert in the earlier series actively hunted steam engines for scrapping
I think the issue is, he’s always been into a dark truth so much that he’s starting to give the other stuff less attention. Like just read the railway series or read the other books on it there’s plenty to talk about. (Edit) Not to mention those oodles and oodles and oodles of fan content out there just waiting to be torn apart for lore.
I’ve always wondered about a theory on how much it cost to run the railway/its yearly income.
should've made a theory about how gods in thomas work
Holy hell someone who calls engines evil AND IT MAKES SENSE AND IS ACCURATE. Its just some are mischevious like Bill and Ben, or some are just accident prone like Percy
he should rewatch the show
I was waiting for a ThomThom theory from MatPat, but it never happened. Also just being a railway nerd, but they aren't trains, they are engines, rolling stock being pulled make up a train
I NEED THIS.
Can you do a Dark theory about tugs please
1:07 he even sounds like Diesel
OUR BATTLE WILL BE LEGENDARY MATTEW ROBERT PATRICK
MatPat would've had a field day talking about how Thomas once wanted to fish instead of pull passengers around all day in Gone Fishing. A literal MECHANICAL WORKHORSE desiring to FISH. Seems legit lol
It's like when tomska talked about boats...
And barney.
God save us all from barney.
I got a better theory, how do they die, and engine anatomy. Edit, if he thinks the TVS is dark, wait till he reads the I.o.S. book and reads the lore behind Crovan's gate.
Dark lore of Thomas and freinds:
There's none.
The Trains DON'T have control over the crashes. mostly the trucks or a stupid choice.
I mean, it is kinda dark when you think about crashes basically being like minor to severe injuries for the engines and whatnot, since they’re all alive/sentient, not to mention getting scrapped, which they are all terrified of
RIP mat pat
Most crashes are based on rl events
