I’ve been in the middle of two bush fires in Australia. One at Torrumbarry, Victoria and one in Queensland and they were two of the most frightening experiences in my life. As a native Angeleno, I have seen bush fires destroy many communities and enormous swaths of land but nothing on the scale I experienced in Australia. Bravo to all of the firefighters both in the air and on the ground! There aren’t words for the gratitude we feel for all those on the front line of firefighting all over the world.
