In today's Pokemon card video, I show you a card by card analysis of a PSA submission return and talk about what I sold each individual graded Pokemon card for. As a result I was able to make money and keep a number of the graded cards for free!
Palms Off Gaming - palmsoffgaming... and apply code BRODIEPLAYS10 at checkout.
Cardboard Guardian - www.cardboardguardian.com.au/discount/BRODIE10
Ebay - www.ebay.com.a...

That recap was good. I’m glad your able to get the cards your wanting to add to your collection at near no cost to you. That’s really cool.
I appreciate the feedback on the video 🙂
Great video mate! Glad to hear PSA took responsibility for the damage on the card
Thanks swadsy! Yeah first time for everything, hopefully It doesn't happen again.
I suppose when you're doing that sort of volume it's bound to happen eventually.
Great video brother 🤙🤙
Hey Thanks Mitch! Appreciate it 🙂
Great video! How much were you charging for shipping?
Shipping I usually charge $10 AUD within Australia (incl tracking)
Thanks for watching 🙂
How are you finding these cards ? Through pack opening ? Single hunting at card shops ?
I don't open alot.of packs. I mainly.pick the cards up raw via ebay or fb marketplace and sometime via IG.
GG brodz! Loving hearing and seeing your process for grading / collecting 👏
Thanks for watching 🙏❤️ glad you liked it 🥰🙂
How on earth did u only got 10s ? I mean you'r buying those cards, even if you look for a perfect condition one at least on average 1/3 of the cards migth be 9s
Great question! I got very lucky this time with the 20 cards I sent in. I just try to be super strict with what I send in 😀
My average for 2023 was 75% psa 10 rate.
Are you including shipping and ebay costs?
Im pretty sure he is. Reducing his profit.
The profits show are afternthe fees and shipping have been considered. 🙂
@@TheCollector501 the profits shown are after fees and shipping 🙂
How do you decide what cards to buy and what to pass up on (regardless of the quality of the card) do you use a website to see trends in certain cards or something else to help you decide?
This might seem stupidly simple but
1 - popular pokemon &
2 - good art work.
Generally these cards are more liquid and the higher rarity cards also sell quite well.
I don't really look at trends, but noting the recent uptick in alt arts I have been buying more alt arts then normal 🙂
@@Brodieplayspokemon Really appreciate the repsonse :) Do you think you would ever/could make a video on your process of submitting cards to PSA? I can only ever really find American tutorials which I know really should be the same but it would be great to hear from an Aussies POV
@Korra_ I'm definitely planning on making a video about this in the future..
I also want to.do one on pregrading cards. Alot of people have requested that too 🙂
This only works if ur willing to wait for months and only get PSA 10 beacuse u are going to send it as bulk which takes months and only get PSA 10. Which isnt always the case. And u also have to sell the cards as well. Which takes weeks or months depending on the card so yeah u can’t replicate this type of things u might as well by cheap raw cards than doing this.
What you're describing is exactly what I did. I'd argue that it's replicable with enough practice and anyone could do it. Sure you might not always hit 100% but with alot of modern cards you can hit high 10 rates once you know what to look for.
Thanks for tuning in 🙂
@@Brodieplayspokemon if anything i hope u get a good collection anyway. just want people to know that this takes time and how fast Pokémon release new sets u got to make some sacrifices in this hobby to do what ur doing.
@kin2596 100% agree! It does take time & sacrafice. Thanks for the comments 🙂
How are you selling a celebration blastoise did you patly 40 for it raw there like 5 bucks
All prices are in AUD. In Australia you pay about $10-12 for a celebrations blastoise raw.
Thanks for watching!
Do you buy from a bidding site from china?
@spencewon9368 No I don't buy cards from China. Usually just ebay aus.
Did u sell on ebay?
Yeah sure did! Some were on ebay & some on fb market place. These prices are all after fees and shipping etc. So the actual sale price and profits or loss 🙂
If you have any other questions let me know
For free !!!! 😱
The secret sauce is revealed. I'm a dirty pokemon flipper 🐬👀
@@Brodieplayspokemon I mean its not really Free. You still need to have funds to buy all of this and wait several months to receive it back and sell.
Whats the profit after fees and shipping?
@TheCollector501 the profit after fees and shipping is the amount included at the bottom.of the video with each graded cards.
Thats the profit after the fees and shipping are considered
