    one of the traditional recipes prepared basically at the time of Sankranti which comes in winter season. very yummy sweet recipe. never fail recipe. healthy recipe.
    here I explained the healthy version of making obbattu. each ingredient has its unique health benefits. must try recipe. easy to make by anybody. just you have to follow some tips.
    ingredients:
    wheat flour - 1 cup
    jaggery - 3/4 cup
    peanut - 1/2 cup
    sesame seeds - 1/4 cup
    salt to taste
    oil - 3 tsp
    cardamom powder - 1 tsp
    water
    ghee
    tips:
    kneed dough well.
    keep dough for rest about 10 mins.
    roti dough consistency
    roast peanut and til on low flame .
    not compulsory to remove skin of peanut
    use grated jaggery
    grind peanut and til only after completely cool down.
    roll with soft hands.
    cook sweet poli on medium flame.
    no need to add maida in dough.
    add normal oil while making dough. if you want crispy poli then add hot oil.
    here I used organic jaggery powder. but you can use any jaggery which is soft.
