My mother was strict when it came to raising me. I am grateful to my mother for not making me a wimp. I am not angry with my mother for it. She had a difficult life herself. I have a lot of respect for my mother for bringing up and feeding 3 children on her own.

Yes, I love chicken livers, dusted with flour and pan fried. I had forgotten about soaking them in milk. Thanks for the reminder!
I sometimes leave my dishes unwashed also. Depends on how busy I am and if my orthopedic pain is flaring. But I always rinse them, and make sure they don’t have food bits left in them.
When I hang my clothes on hangers outside my back door, I have to clamp the hangers with clothes pins, or they will certainly be on the ground 😊. Thanks for sharing your time with us! God bless ❤❤

Hello Cherry, I also am an early riser. I'm out of my house and go for my walk. I am usually back after 2 or 2 and a half hours. I like to watch your videos, as well as your friends because I learn new words and like to see what you cook. My daughter in law is Filipino and she makes chicken Adobo with plenty of sabao. And she also makes lumpia. She makes some with Apple filling that I make, it like having Apple pie. Thank you for your videos, I do enjoy them very much.

Love your day (it doesn’t have to be outside or a special place)…home is my favorite place. I love watching you cook and we do have mochi ice cream in Hawaii-we have mango, lychee, haupia (coconut) and other flavors. I usually feed my family, clean up the kitchen and wash all the dishes and I eat last because I don’t want to clean or wash after I eat. I would only have maybe one plate and fork but no heavy cleaning. I used to buy paper plates but I feel like I should use regular dishes and save money and not waste our planet’s resources 😐 Have a good start to the new week! Hi Che B yes I'm an early riser, work starts for me at 3.30am so I'm up at 2.10am weekdays. Weekends I'm always awake around 3.30 so put some washing on, make a drink and lie in bed watching programs 😂. It was my Birthday yesterday so a busy weekend and I've been spoilt by friends. Daughter took me out for a meal today to a restaurant called Wagamama, they cook Asian inspired meals. Had a plant based katsu curry and I'm so full no room for Birthday cake. You've had alot of produce off your plants, those chillies look like ones I grew once they were extremely hot😅. My late mum was the one to discipline us when younger, my dad was so soft with us. We had him wrapped around our little finger.

Ate Gie is right about the bitter melon. You can do the same with almost all vegetables like that. Keeps the color fresh and the taste as well.
Your father was smart to encourage you to wake up early and get all of the days blessings. Our parents did also. I used to wake up early, but after working nights for many years, I became used to sleeping in the daytime. Right now, we usually go to sleep about 6 am and wake up about 2 pm, but if we have important things to do, we will only sleep a couple of hours and wake up early to accomplish whatever tasks we need to do.

Good question, hard to explain while making video but I will tell you what happened.
2020 our batch were about to go home that time but I was one of the lucky ones who were asked to stay and accept the SSW Visa. I did not like it at first 'cause I want to be with my family but financial situation hindered me. I thought of the Van that was not yet fully paid that time, and the pandemic that made my family struggling because of lock down.
I became an SSW but need to move in different apartment as part of the requirement in immigration. Our company did not close but the production were less that made our salary low. I was struggling financially because my apartment is high and I need to send big money to Ph for my Van and support for my family that was struggling too because of pandemic. That made me think to do anything I can to earn an extra income.☺️

Hello Cherry , we don't find chicken liver in most supermarkets . But we find beef liver and veal liver easily . I just fry it in a little oil if I'm in a hurry . If I have the time I first cook 2 big onions cut into rings, then when golden I add the liver full blast for 3 minutes then I reduce heat , cover with a lid , let simmer for about 8 minutes and it's done . Serve with roasted potatoes and a salad . 🧑🦳🌺
