If I hear Cobalamin one more time I'll turn into a Cobalamin and after watching this I'm more confused, which Cobalamin is the right Cobalamin and which cobalamin is the left Cobalamin.
T{he methyl group on methylcobalamin is removed before methylcobalamin enters the cell and the cobalamin is re-methylated by folate within the cell, thereby making the use of the methylated form unnecessary.
there was a china study that showed methyl b-12 is 6 times effective than the cyno version, and this was a huge rigorous study with over 3,200 people if i recall correctly.
If I understand correctly, when taking cyanocobalami the body converts it to methylcobalamin. why not just take methylcobalamin straight away and avoid the conversion ?
If you suffer from pernious anemia, the injectable form should be Methylcobalamin. Cyanocobalamin gas has been banned in many countries as an intermuscular injection
Celia Walters I'm confused too I've read the same thing. in fact I read that a Japanese study found methyl to be the best at curing b12 deficiency brain issues.
Yes, indeed, metho absorbs better, they say. This is the first time I hear someone recommending cyano. It could be that they prefer metho because cyano has a shorter life shelf.
From the (USA) National Institutes of Health (NIH): In dietary supplements, vitamin B12 is usually present as cyanocobalamin [5], a form that the body readily converts to the active forms methylcobalamin and 5-deoxyadenosylcobalamin. Dietary supplements can also contain methylcobalamin and other forms of vitamin B12. Existing evidence does not suggest any differences among forms with respect to absorption or bioavailability. However the body’s ability to absorb vitamin B12 from dietary supplements is largely limited by the capacity of intrinsic factor. For example, only about 10 mcg of a 500 mcg oral supplement is actually absorbed in healthy people [8]. In addition to oral dietary supplements, vitamin B12 is available in sublingual preparations as tablets or lozenges. These preparations are frequently marketed as having superior bioavailability, although evidence suggests no difference in efficacy between oral and sublingual forms [16,17]. ods.od.nih.gov/factsheets/VitaminB12-HealthProfessional/
Celia Walters I am very confused, too. I am pretty sure that I have heard Dr. Greger recommend the Methyl type in a recent presentation from 2016. Maybe the quote of him recommending the cyano type is from an old video. Edit: Ok, I went back to the video of Greger and realized that I misheard his mumbling. He actually recommends Cyanocobalamin. And of course, I bought 5 years worth of the wrong kind of supplement. :(
Just because it was the only thing studied showing some type of deficiency reversal doesn't mean it's the only thing that SHOULD have been studied. AKA, there might be better than cyanocobalamin, and probably is.
taken from don bennett: Methylcobalamin and Cyanocobalamin When most of us think of vitamin B12, the molecule we really have in mind is cyanocobalamin or cyano B12. As its name suggests, cyano B12 has a cyanide group (CN) attached, whereas methyl B12 carries a methyl group (CH3) instead. Very little of the body's natural B12 is in the cyano form under normal circumstances; exceptions are in cases of cyanide poisoning or chronic smoking, both of which can raise cyanocobalamin levels. The fact that most of our vitamin pills contain cyano rather than methyl B12 is largely an accident of history, the result of using charcoal to filter extracts during the isolation of B12. Unknown to the early researchers who first isolated B12, the traces of cyanide present in such charcoal rapidly convert all natural forms of B12, including methyl B12 into the more stable cyano form. As a result, the discovery of the B12 coenzymes and their metabolic role was delayed for years. Whenever we swallow a conventional vitamin pill, any cyano B12 present gets carried along and absorbed by an intricate "bucket brigade" of B12-binding proteins. Operating in the stomach and small intestine, this transport system provides a very efficient mechanism for absorbing a few micrograms of B12, yet is quickly swamped by anything larger. As a result, only about 1% of a large oral dose of any form of B12 usually makes it into the bloodstream. Fortunately, we can bypass intestinal absorption entirely by taking B12 sublingually. Sublingual administration is a simple and effective way of substantially raising blood levels by absorbing B12 through the oral mucosa. It's also unquestionably the most convenient way to take B12, especially for people taking supplements on a daily basis. So let's say we've taken a sublingual tablet and a significant amount of B12 shows up in the bloodstream. End of story? Not if it's cyano B12. Most of the B12 naturally circulating in the blood plasma is in the methyl form. Before cyano B12 can join this metabolic pool and be properly utilized by the body, it has to be stripped of its cyano group and 'reduced' (i.e., made to gain electrons) in a time-consuming, multi-step process14. The result of all this processing is a B12 molecule with its cobalt ion reduced from the +3 to the +1 oxidation state, ready to take on a methyl group and be distributed throughout the body as methyl B12. It should be obvious that there are certain advantages inherent in taking methyl B12 as a supplement, versus 'ordinary' B12. For one thing, methyl B12 doesn't have to engage the body's resources to convert it into coenzyme form, it's already there. Even more important is the fact that methylcobalamin is the most highly reduced form of vitamin B12 possible; this makes methyl B12 a very potent reducing agent (antioxidant) indeed. In a body undergoing oxidative stress -- for example from a disease process or from a diet deficient in antioxidants -- it's possible that methyl B12 production can become impaired. A similar derangement in the cellular synthesis of adenosyl B12 (another reduced coenzyme form of B12 into which methyl B12 can be converted) is already known to occur in association with vitamin E deficiency15. So it makes sense to consume B12 in a form in which it's already metabolically active and maximally reduced, and thereby put less of a strain on our bodies' antioxidative capacity.
Obviously an area that requires further research. B12 deficiency can cause a lot of health problems. The health of the digestive system plays a large role in the ability of the gut to absorb this nutrient also. The research I have done so far has stated adenosylcobalamin is the best. It is expensive and the one recommended in this video is cheap rubbish to avoid. Must research thoroughly as B12 supplementation is essential for many.
Cyano tested best in the studies for people who had deficiency. It worked as well as Hydroxo, which is injected. Methyl doesn't always work. I have interacted with 3 people who it failed to get them out of insufficiency. It could be because of the shelf life. If the bottles sit around at the stores, you get a product, which doesn't work.
I consume spirulina/chlorella with my daily smoothies or sea vegetables with my meals at least 3x a week. I also consume shilajit, unwashed (organic) root vegetables and mushrooms, aloe vera, moringa all known natural sources of b-12 and fermented foods/vegetables few times a week I have a b-12 spray but i don't notice any difference when i use it or when i don't its more overhype.. a healthy gut/body circulates b-12 efficiently. That's what i have gathered from observation and experimentation over time.
Bodhiboy91 hopefully your figured this out by now, but spirulina is Not a good source for b12, as the kind of b12 is inactive to humans. It can also block you from absorbing b12. But hopefully all the other stuff you are doing is helping and you are keeping up with your blood work to make sure you are getting sufficient amount. I use to take a lot of spirulina but I stopped as it’s not as great as many claimed it to be. Best ✌🏼
B12 ACNE READ HERE I get very bad acne from all B12 supplements except with Hydroxocobalamin. I also read especially the Hydroxocobalamin-chloride works the best for B12 acne prone people. I'm using the "acetate" version (injections) though and it works fine. After years I found a solution.

CAN'T UNDERSTAND THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF HIS LAS SENTENCE: "I ENCOURAGE PEOPLE______ ONCE A WK____ ALL SET" ... IT' ALL MUMBLED UP. SO WHAT IS THE RECOMMENDATION?
Just a small thing I feel helped me is making sure your B-12 source is Methylcobalamin and not the others. It made me feel better in less then an hour. I was getting bright spots and felt light headed and had a sharp pain in my head. I feel so much better now. I use the sublingual and a spray just to be sure. I also take the other kind as well because why the hell not. It is so dangerous to have a problem.
where exactly place is your pain the headed? maybe i will can explain what was been caused, maybe i will can say you what the place is the pain is coming..
I began using sublingual cyanocobalamin to help with my sleep problems. At one point it became as efficient as sleeping pills, even caused me to oversleep, but the effectiveness varies, maybe due to my need of more or less. But then after reading negative things about it I switched to the methyl form and it did not help my sleep even after increasing the dose it seemed sometimes it helped a little but others didn't, so tired of it I switched back to cyanocobalamin, so I'm glad to hear confirmation that it's ok to use it.
That doesnt make sense... he said that the cya is 2500mg per week and at the end said: yes there is this daily dose... I am confused. All the source that I have read said that cya is synthetic and meth is natural.... confused!!!!! Help ;)
Vincent Gadget He was just saying that you can find it in different presentations (or dosis). He encourages the weekly 2500mcg (rather than the daily that comes in smaller dosis).
I believe there are two main reasons why Dr. Greger is recommending cyanocobalamin as oppose to the other natural forms: 1. a lot more research has been done to prove that cyanocobalamin can effectively reverse B12 deficiencies, and 2. cyanocobalamin is more shelf stable (the other forms aren't; although they may be non-synthetic, if they are not shelf stable then they are ultimately ineffective as a supplement). Dr. Greger is known for only recommending things that are thoroughly researched (which is good, considering most people on youtube are just going off their personal preferences). In addition, cyanocobalamin is less expensive. I am also trying to figure out the best form of B12 to take. I am currently taking cyanocobalamin, as per Dr. Greger's recommendation (Now Foods liquid B12, 1000 mcg every morning). I don't really know if it's working; I've been taking it for about a month and I don't notice any changes. I may try a combination of methylcobalamin and adenosylcobalamin next to compare. I believe the efficacy of each form depends on your body chemistry.
Vincent Gadget Dr. Greger’s B12 Dosage Recommendations: •One weekly dosage of 2500 mcg cyanocobalamin B12 •One daily dosage of 250 mcg cyanocobalamin B12 •2000 mcg methylcobalamin B12 per day Jack Norris and Ginny Messina's B12 Dosage Recommendations: •One weekly dosage of 2000 mcg cyanocobalamin B12 •Two weekly dosages of 1000 mcg cyanocobalamin B12 •Two daily dosages of 2-3.5 mcg cyanocobalamin •One daily dosage of 25-100 mcg cyanocobalamin •1000-2000 mcg methylcobalamin daily
Most of the MTHFR information is a scam. Just be careful. John McDougall talks about how the Methyl Folate increases the rate of stroke, heart attack and cancer and that is part of the whole "methyl donor" concept. If you have MS, you actually just need to be no animal products and no oil. Dr. McDougall has a video. Dr. Swank put 95% of his MS patients into remission permanently while they stayed on his diet and he followed them for multiple decades. Usually, for autoimmune, you need to heal your leaky gut. Cabbage juice or Cabbage soup for a few weeks tends to work, unless you are a smoker. Watch John's video on Autoimmune, he explains how it works.
A combination of Methyl and Cyano is an okay idea if you have Methylation problems. (Don't over do it on the Methyl groups though. Too many Methyl groups can cause problems, too.)
You know, he's simply wrong about this. Do you know why cyanocobalamin is much cheaper? Because it's processed from animal remains and animal waste. He's relied way too quickly on previous studies done and his thinking stopped there.
There is allot of false information around on UA-cam and google on Vitamin B12. The majority of the people say that you can only get it from the meat and the dairy, this is completely false. Naturally occurring B12 is found in Nori the dried sheet found in sushi restaurants, dried purple laver is also a natural plant product it's found in. Shiitake mushrooms have relatively high levels of B12. Vitamin B12 is synthesised only by certain bacteria, B12 in eggs and the cows milk is poorly absorbed, and in some people they have malabsorption with certain gastric dysfunctions where they have to take an injection for life. Generally processed foods should be avoided. To get vitamin B12 it's from unwashed organic produce, B12 is produced by a a bacteria found in the soil that is used to grow organic produce, the soil is rich in vitamin B12. Farmers need to be educated that it's being depleted from the soil due to applying pesticides, fungicides, herbicides, and insecticides to the plants. There are fortified foods that contain B12 like rice milk, nut milks, cereals, energy bars and Soy. Wheat grass, tofu and some vegetarian burgers also have it in. Lots of people take nutritional yeast and marmite. Blackberry kidney beans, millet, sprouts and nuts like almonds also have B12 in. Unpasteurised sauerkraut is another source people can buy. The Hanza people have been known to live to 120 years old living only on a plant based diet, the reality is this: A plant based diet full of fruits and nuts, grown in proper organic farming methods, clean unpolluted air, free from (acid rain, industrial pollution) and a diet of seeds especially apricot seeds and kernels, the Hanza people prove that lifestyle is to blame as there soil is more rich in nutrients without anything chemically altered. Seeds in general can all be eaten the myth of cyanide poising is just ridiculous, there are small amounts of cyanide in some seeds but they are there to attach to cells inside the body that are cancerous and it destroys them. That's why the Hanza people never get cancer. Use a bit of logic, has any supermarket got signs telling you not to consume fruit seeds? Is there warning signs for babies not to consume fruit seeds? Of cause not it's just false information because the meat and dairy industry are profit driven, and know that vegetarian and Vegan lifestyles are on the increase, just like Cows milk is designed for cows, we are the only species that consumes another species milk.
Nori and shiitake mushrooms contain an inactive b12 analogue that CANNOT be used by the body. The only reliable vegan sources of B12 are fortified foods. There may be a very small amount in the dirt on unwashed vegetables but it's very unlikely to be enough to meet your requirements. Vegans need to take supplements or eat enough fortified foods.
christian shines sorry but you are wrong and giving out miss-information. Shiitake do not contain B12 no more almonds. If you don’t eat animal products you need supplement vit B12
I have read a LOT of articles that directly contradict this... most say cyano is the worst form to take... so do your research... Google "best form B12" and you will find plenty of info by various people... I also recommend looking into "overmethylation" and "undermethylation"... it really helped me... maybe it will help you too. Skoal!
If you take Methyl, you need to also take Adenosyl or Cyano or Hydroxo. www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/25117994Most of the Methyl resources were Ben Lynch and he hyped things up to sell supplements and he is not a real researcher. There are skeptic sites now which have real doctors who have shown that most people, even if they have MTHFR, never have any problems at all and that the supplements, can cause health problems. Methyl Folate increases stroke and heart attack by 20% and also increases Cancer. People need to choose either cyano B-12 or Methyl with Adenosyl and they need to eat their vegetables for folate. John McDougall has a good article about how dangerous Methylfolate is. Forbes and a few other sites have taken on Ben Lynch for hyping things up to sell supplements and books.
greger is clueless, i listen to dr mcdougall instead, he recommends methocobolomin or hydro, and not cyan, he knows his stuff, greger constantly changes and contradicts his stuff through the years
That's because Greger just forms his opinions and recommendations based on the latest scientific studies. He doesn't do his own research like McDougall, so probably isn't as biased, and his changing recommendations are because the science is always changing slightly.
Cyanocobalamin is the best. Sure, you get a cyanide molecule that's neglible, but there's worse things we consume in normal tap water, for instance. Plus you're a vegan. You're avoiding so many deleterious effects animal foods can have just by not eating meat, dairy and eggs anyway.
As I am in the middle of transitioning to a whole food, plant-based diet (recent convert), I understand B12 is sort of the crux for the diet. But as with any supplement, are there any dangers? I feel I get more stressed out and anxious if I take too much. One youtube commenter said that if he takes anything above 500 mcg, he gets panic attacks, which is kind of what I've been getting.
You should watch the Dr. Ben Lynch videos then. You may have a genetic SNP that is affecting your folate and methylation pathways. Some are quite common. He was a vegetarian so many of his information considers vegetarians and vegans.
If you take Methyl, you need to also take Adenosyl or Cyano or Hydroxo. www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/25117994Ben Lynch has been called out as a fraud selling supplements on a few of the skeptic sites and in Forbes Magazine. He gets people to take Methyl Folate, which is dangerous. It raises strokes and heart attacks and cancer. John McDougall says to eat your veggies for folate and take B-12.
I personally think you don't need to worry too much in the early days of a plant-based diet. I've been vegan for 18 years. Was vegetarian for 13 years before that. Just had my blood test done after 31 years of not eating meat and I'm a bit low in B12, but not deficient. I'm now starting to take a B12 vitamin more frequently. But I didn't take one at all for the 13 years that I was veggie or first 7 years or so of being vegan, and after that I have only ever taken a multivitamin once or twice a month. My blood test showed I was optimal or normal in everything else like iron, protein etc. The only thing that was slightly low was B12 - so I'm taking a B12 vitamin now. But for you, I would say a lower dose is fine.
Try to get it in liquid form if you can. That will absorb better. I take 2400 mcg a DAY lol!! maybe too much?? Oh well. I feel good. So Imma keep on doing it.
kimberly barrs I don't take it because I'm deficient, I take it just as a vitamin like I do with all my vitamins. I only take the B12 like once or twice a week because we really don't need that much.
can someone advise if i am taking omeprozole every day which helps with acid reflux which version of b12 supplement will work because stomach acid is lowered so i wont absorb the b12 or will it absorb as normal in capsuule form.
Vegan not vegetarian, whole food plant based. Do some research. I suffered for years with Gerd, high cholesterol, high blood pressure. cleared up within a week, Read, The China Study, The pleasure Trap, Proteinaholic, lots of info on plant based diets on the internet. Life changing 👌 Best kept secret out there !! Good luck
According to one piece by Dr. Fuhrman (that piece may be old, not sure), it's unknown how much benefit it is to go from 90% of calories from plants to 100%. Therefore for that 10% I like to eat salmon for omega 3, and oysters and clams for B12.
It gets recycled by your liver. It gets secreted into the gut as a component of bile acid but is then re-absorbed. Losses of vitamin B12 are small and therefore you only need to take in a small amount.
Flaxseed has 5000 times more cyanide than Cyano B12 and neither have ever put anyone in the ER. Apricot seeds and B-17, which the Cancer alternative industry mega-doses on does put toddlers in the ER and occasionally an adult, but that is multiple tens of thousands of times more cyanide.
Nutritional yeast contains a huge amount of MSG just like other fermented foods, I wouldn't recommend that if you are good friends with your nervous system.
A lot of the yeast sold are now transgenic. If you can find one thats not modified and does not contains msg, I would take yeast and lots of beef or lamb's liver
It would be supremely difficult to overdose on a B-Vitamin. You pee extra of it out. If you are talking about the fact that Cyano has a trace amount of cyanide, flaxseed has 5000 times more cyanide and Apricot Kernels have way more than that and very few people have ever gotten in trouble with the Apricot Kernels and NOBODY has ever gone to the ER with either flaxseed or Cyano B-12. The EU did a safety study for cyanide and said: "Studies indicate 0.5 to 3.5 milligrams (mg) cyanide per kilogram of body weight can be lethal." Cyano only has a trace amount and it is easily metabolized by glutamate.
Something other than the orijinal full form of a food can.t be digested. The body hasn.t been programmed to digest any supplement either in isolation or in multiple form It should be whole food and not gmo either
EveryoneHarmonyPeace No. There is no clear answer as to which is the best - it depends on a person, on their condition and more research is needed frankly.

Spirulina is pond scum garbage.
The official vegan society Veg1 vitamin/mineral tablet for B12 (and others) uses Cyanocobalamin, that's good enough for me.
It’s probably best to have your levels tested. Then you will know if what you are doing is working or not.
To B12 or not to B12. That is the Question.
hahaha well put
it is not in question. DO take it.
To B12 definitely
There is no question. Take B-12 100%.
Take it, especially since I can see you don't get it, it's a sign of serious B12 deficiency.
Great! As always. Thank you..🙏

wow! never realized that meat eaters were deficient in b12, as well! thanks for another super-informative video!! 😀 glad the u.s. is 2nd to oz in meat consumption.
Cindy Jones what's good about it
39% aren't deficient. She was alluding to the Tuft's study where 39% of animal eaters had low-normal B12 status or worse. Low-normal is not deficient.
90% of the worlds beef cattle don't naturally produce b12 in their stomachs anymore.
@@DBASSDAN source?
very well explained, thank you:)
Very informative, thumbs up!

Angeles Rivera I encourage everyone try 1200 micrograms, once a week; cost 5 bucks a year. You'll be all set
Elijah Peppers GRACIAS!
2500 micrograms, once a week
Yes, Dr. Greger speaks very, very fast sometimes. Try listening to one of his audiobooks😀!

Well what about the sublingual form of methyl as a spray if not tablet - does this work?
I think a spray is great
Just as effective as a tablet :) www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1884303/

Thank you so much for sharing that :-) Hopefully that can help others who may be struggling with their sleep on the methyl form.

Glad to see it's just not me, thanks for your input! :-)
I think, cyano has some droge. cyanet I juast thik that,
So. Take that in the morning my deare. Cyano is Bad idea
Well done, so much detail!
Thank you Peter :-)
cyanocobalamin is a synthetic form of b12 ,,where methylcobalamin is not
That doesnt make sense... he said that the cya is 2500mg per week and at the end said: yes there is this daily dose...
Same here!! I've been reading that both are synthetic and shouldn't be taken.
Read my comment to Celia Walters.

Dr. Greger’s B12 Dosage Recommendations:
•One weekly dosage of 2500 mcg cyanocobalamin B12
•One daily dosage of 250 mcg cyanocobalamin B12
•2000 mcg methylcobalamin B12 per day
Jack Norris and Ginny Messina's B12 Dosage Recommendations:
•One weekly dosage of 2000 mcg cyanocobalamin B12
•Two weekly dosages of 1000 mcg cyanocobalamin B12
•Two daily dosages of 2-3.5 mcg cyanocobalamin
•One daily dosage of 25-100 mcg cyanocobalamin
•1000-2000 mcg methylcobalamin daily
Dr Greger is unclear in this video regarding the dosage, per day or week? 500 or 2500 mcg ?
This is the only vid I seen that's says cyano is better the methyl
Im confused
What about using vitamin b-12 1000mcg ?
So is methylcabalmin good for smokers?
I was told I need the methyl because of several autoimmune and neurologic disorders
UA-cam John McDougall b12
Vid he says he and Mary both supplement b12 and touse methylcobalmine
So if cyanocobalamin is the recommended form, however not recommended for people with CKD, which form of B12 is safe to supplement for me?
Being deficient in B-12 also proved to me that I was deficient in pimples. When I began taking B-12 I started breaking out non stop.
Very helpful!

What if I took a combo of methyl and cyano? I am currently taking methyl in a spray form.
A combination of Methyl and Cyano is an okay idea if you have Methylation problems. (Don't over do it on the Methyl groups though. Too many Methyl groups can cause problems, too.)
B12 Had so many years. So much Energy Am very Active 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
He did not mention hydroxocobalamin. (B12 injections.)
You know, he's simply wrong about this. Do you know why cyanocobalamin is much cheaper? Because it's processed from animal remains and animal waste. He's relied way too quickly on previous studies done and his thinking stopped there.
Super confused here. Can we take both?
Cyano is enough, but...If you take Methyl, you need to also take Adenosyl or Cyano or Hydroxo. www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/25117994
thanks for sharing
Awesome narrator.
The Hanza people have been known to live to 120 years old living only on a plant based diet, the reality is this:
A plant based diet full of fruits and nuts, grown in proper organic farming methods, clean unpolluted air, free from (acid rain, industrial pollution) and a diet of seeds especially apricot seeds and kernels, the Hanza people prove that lifestyle is to blame as there soil is more rich in nutrients without anything chemically altered.
I didn't say they all ate a plant based diet, I said most so I am not wrong
Nori and shiitake mushrooms contain an inactive b12 analogue that CANNOT be used by the body. The only reliable vegan sources of B12 are fortified foods. There may be a very small amount in the dirt on unwashed vegetables but it's very unlikely to be enough to meet your requirements. Vegans need to take supplements or eat enough fortified foods.
christian shines sorry but you are wrong and giving out miss-information. Shiitake do not contain B12 no more almonds. If you don’t eat animal products you need supplement vit B12
Good to know. Always thought cyanocobalamin was bad because it has cyanide
Read CDC.gov on Cyanide it's DEADLY!!!! THE ABOVE DOCTOR WORKS FOR THE BIG PHARM COMPANIES TELLING US ITS SAFE TO USE CYANOCOBALAMIN
It is,it's fake vitamin b-12
Sorry but that cyanide molecule is a non-starter.... no way
I have read a LOT of articles that directly contradict this... most say cyano is the worst form to take... so do your research...
Forbes and a few other sites have taken on Ben Lynch for hyping things up to sell supplements and books.
why should smokers avoid cyanocobalamin? is it dangerous or is it due to not working for smokers?
ur great thanks so much!
greger is clueless, i listen to dr mcdougall instead, he recommends methocobolomin or hydro, and not cyan, he knows his stuff, greger constantly changes and contradicts his stuff through the years
That's because Greger just forms his opinions and recommendations based on the latest scientific studies. He doesn't do his own research like McDougall, so probably isn't as biased, and his changing recommendations are because the science is always changing slightly.
Felling burning heavily in full body most of the summer time is the B 12 deficiency what the cure
Markus Rothkranz: As B12 pills go, sublingual methylcobalamin is the kind you want, not cyanocobalamin.
You RIGHT, well said.
Mam ye supplements form Re. Plz Reply
Thank you 💪
Make your own organic compost and take a teaspoon once a month.

Eat shit and get B12. Good idea. Rofl mao.
hope you are joking. gah. lok

Try to get it in liquid form if you can. That will absorb better. I take 2400 mcg a DAY lol!! maybe too much?? Oh well. I feel good. So Imma keep on doing it.
you said get it in liquid form which one and how did you know you had a vitamin b12 deficiency like your symptoms
kimberly barrs I don't take it because I'm deficient, I take it just as a vitamin like I do with all my vitamins. I only take the B12 like once or twice a week because we really don't need that much.
I like you ,honey i am a man from portugal age 64 years old. thanks deare
nest ninh huh? Lol
Danielle Robbins Really? Weird. I've actually calmed down on B12 a lot. I'll kinda take it whenever I remember now lol.
can someone advise if i am taking omeprozole every day which helps with acid reflux which version of b12 supplement will work because stomach acid is lowered so i wont absorb the b12 or will it absorb as normal in capsuule form.
Transform to a whole food plant based diet and you’ll never suffer from acid reflux again. 1 week and the reflux will disappear
@@jasonr3255 you mean become a vegi

I suffered for years with Gerd, high cholesterol, high blood pressure. cleared up within a week, Read, The China Study, The pleasure Trap, Proteinaholic, lots of info on plant based diets on the internet. Life changing 👌 Best kept secret out there !! Good luck
@@jasonr3255 thanks I'll look into it. Can't stop eating meat tjho in case it entails that.
Cyano didn't help me at all. Will try hydroxyl and methyladenosyl. Depends on the individual own enzyme and metabolism, genetic make up.
what changes did u have with these? purchased where?
Read my comment to Celia Walters.
That m word is help me. Cy didn't help at all.
Yes have cyonconbolinmin.
According to one piece by Dr. Fuhrman (that piece may be old, not sure), it's unknown how much benefit it is to go from 90% of calories from plants to 100%. Therefore for that 10% I like to eat salmon for omega 3, and oysters and clams for B12.
What!? Furhman dumped all meat and fish. He kept up with the science. I wouldn't touch fish now ever. Too much toxins.
Non !
So if the average body can process 250-300 mg every 4-6 hours, why does Dr. Greger
suggest just a few mg's once a week?
Because your liver stores and releases B12 when your body needs it.
just a few? I heard that the recommended daily is only 8 mcg.
It gets recycled by your liver. It gets secreted into the gut as a component of bile acid but is then re-absorbed. Losses of vitamin B12 are small and therefore you only need to take in a small amount.
Mega doses of B-12 are linked to lung cancer in smokers.
wow i was told wrong. Thanks! I will do more research ...
Why do you need to supplement if it's so great
Cyanide WTF!
Apple peel contains cyanide like many other fruits
@@deb1609 hush hunny. Cyano is garbage

nutritional yeast
Nutritional yeast contains a huge amount of MSG just like other fermented foods, I wouldn't recommend that if you are good friends with your nervous system.
A lot of the yeast sold are now transgenic. If you can find one thats not modified and does not contains msg, I would take yeast and lots of beef or lamb's liver
OrganisedPauper
If you use Nutritional Yeast, you need to use a lot of it and use it every day.

If you overdose on B12 can it have an adverse effect on ones health?
It can put a toll on your low normal iron stores. Since iron and b12 are used with folic acid to make blood.
treating people as if were all the same is the biggest problem in usa , just counting races isnt good enough
Something other than the orijinal full form of a food can.t be digested. The body hasn.t been programmed to digest any supplement either in isolation or in multiple form It should be whole food and not gmo either
So Cyanocobalamin is the best?
EveryoneHarmonyPeace No. There is no clear answer as to which is the best - it depends on a person, on their condition and more research is needed frankly.
