I’ve met MANY PEOPLE who don’t even acknowledge that they were ever abused or neglected in order to keep their fantasy relationship going with their parents. There is a huge bias against EVER OFFENDING OR DISRESPECTING PARENTS IN OUR CULTURE. Undeserved loyalty is consistently being practiced towards parents. I personally have been shamed and ostracized for confronting my parents for what they perpetrated on me as a child. I have eliminated those types of people from my life. I went no contact from my family of origin 25 years ago. I was made the scapegoat and I was not going to tolerate it anymore whatsoever. I wanted peace and tranquility in my life & have continued to educate myself on my residual hurt and disappointment due to what was done to me overtly and covertly. Please address this.

6 or more ACES. Where is the test?? I’m a childhood trauma survivor and have done at least 20 years of recovery work. You need to address the ppl who never address their abuse and neglect issues versus ppl who have and are addressing their issues. What is the difference between ppl in committed recovery versus ppl who are in denial and never acknowledge their ACES. At all????
