In this video I have created an adaptive family of a curved window which can be placed on any curved wall of any dimension and radius.

One kind request is that can u please make a video/s on new family templates, like if we go in the new family template dialog box we get lots of templates. so when to use/when not to use these templates or what are the restrictions in using these new family templates... How much time is required to learn revit architecture I hope u will answer
I can't place the windows on the walls after I make the revit family file, not sure what to do>??
After i load into project, i can only place the first point on the window opening, then mouse cursor turns into ∅ blocked sign, even when i put the other points at the end i get an error message says
"Cannot Make type family"
There are few points which you have to consider while placing this window:
1. The window points must be placed in the same sequence and direction as of the adaptive point numbers.
2. Do not place this window in the elevation, place it in the 3D view and make sure that the window opening points are clearly visible.
3. It is completely normal that the blocked sign appears when you move the cursor away. When you will place the second the point, the sign will automatically disappear.

Please guide me how can I covert my wall units in ft and inches they are in inches.
Press "UN" which is the shortcut key for the Units and from there you can change the project units.
I cannot find the “make adaptive” command. I do have reference dots but can’t find the make adaptive command
For "make adaptive" command to appear, you have to work in "generic model adaptive component" template family file.
And also make sure that only dots are selected and nothing else.
How we can apply grid and mullions to this adaptive window plz
Then you have to increase the number of adaptive points according to the number of mullions.

does this appear on window schedule?
No, only those windows which are created in the windows template file appear in the window schedule.
isnt it easy to use storefront as a window ?
It is easy but the mullions are always straight in the curved wall while using the storefront option. But if you want the mullions to be curved along the wall, then you can use this method.

I try but, can't make type adaptive
Make Sure that when you join the adaptive points with lines, the 3D snapping is checked and the work plane is set to "Draw on Face".
I cannot find the reference point command anywhere in revit 2019.
At 2:33 you can see in the video that there is a "point element" in "draw" box of the model line command which I have selected. You can also select this "point element" in the "draw" box of the reference line command. Before you place these point elements on the work plane make sure that "Draw on Work Plane" is selected which is on the right side of the "draw" box below the "Draw on Face".
You can only find this point element in the massing mode or in the creation of adaptive components. It is not available in every template file.
Window frame is not create......
Where are you facing the issue while following the tutorial? In creating the family file or placing it on the walls. Kindly elaborate the issue, so that I can understand and help you in solving it.
