I have a field that has been in corn for the last 5 years and it will go to beans next year. I'm going to shoot for 80 bushel beans and think I'll need to add nitrogen to my program to get there. I've never used chicken litter before but know someone that I can source it from. What is your thoughts?
What about the trend of spreading urea to late veg stage soybeans? The urea does two things: 1 evaperate into a usable nitrogen gas available to the plants via sequestation. 2 soak in after a rain and feeds through the roots.
