I cook pot roast in instant pot often. I brown it first then add some water and better than bullion. Then set the pressure cooker for 60 minutes. Comes out really tender and then make gravy.

But having your husband find out first and be the one to tell you, the second your baby is placed on your chest is the best feeling in the world! And it gives him something no one can ever take away from him. So totally worth it!

I have been married 45 years. And believe me you will be so improved in your skills as time goes by. these days will make you laugh as you look back on them. My mom's roast recipe is awesome. Take a chuck roast and put in the middle of a huge piece of heavy duty aluminum, sprinkle one packet onion soup mix, one can of cream of mushroom soup, salt and pepper. Roll up foil but not too tight. put on a dish with sides in case of leaks. Bake at 325 for 3-4 hours until it it's fork tender. Scrape gravy out of foil, put in pot until hot and you can add a little beef stock if you want, but just a little. That gravy is amazing.
When my husband and I got married almost 25 years ago, I was only 18 and he was 22. I could cook because my mom had taught me, but my husband hadn’t a clue. I taught him everything I knew and now he’s a better chef than me. So ladies and Evan, ask Erin and Zack if they can teach you their tricks, before you know it you will be excellent cooks too. Mississippi pot roast is a crock pot and is amazing. Super easy (4-6 hours in the crockpot when it falls apart it’s ready). Pioneer woman’s mashed potatoes are super easy too and you can make a day or two ahead then reheat in the oven.
We were surprised at birth with the gender of our two boys and it is the best surprise ever! 💙💙 It’s truly the only time as an adult you can be genuinely surprised! We for sure won’t be finding out with any future babies, it’s the absolute best! 👌🏼

Carlin, put the meat back in instapot and cook it longer to make it fall apart tender. I never measure for Mac and cheese. The potatoes could be salvaged. I’d love to come give you a cooking lesson for a few meals that you can make additional meals from leftovers.

Oh my gosh, we used to do that broom game/trick at summer camp! We called it boom boom walla walla boom boom.....or something like that. 😂 I haven't seen it done in forever. 😀
OK. Mississippi Mud Roast is the best. It's crockpot and so easy and tasty! Roast in the crockpot, sprinkle with a packet of ranch dressing. Put a cube of butter on top of that. Then put pepperoncini's around the butter (I put about 8 but I like spicy. Use 5 or 6 for flavor). I also add a little bit of juice. Put on low for 8 hours. Turns out awesome every time. I make taco's with the left overs. Yummy!
