@@OsirusHandle you dont get it. Your team is ahead so logically correct play is to be in offense not deffense. You should fight for all objectives. You realizs how hard it is, if your frontline has 1k on their head. However if all that mattered was outcome of the fight things would ve been diffrent. Splitpushing would be a thing again instead of just constant aram mid.

You can outplay and kill someone like 3 times and then they just claim your bounty and it is as if you died 3 times as well in terms of gold. We reached to the point that you need to int smart as well to get rid of your bounty.

Shutdown should be capped depending on the characters, but riot won't be willing to admit that champions that must makes plays and commit can't have 1k shutdowns on their face, so they'll just buff them instead
Shutdowns are the only reason I won 40+ games in a row on a smurf (Started in bronze ezmoney), you either win as a team because everyone won lane, or you stomp your lane but your team ints the entire game? Don't worry, just take all the shutdowns and get 2 free items and 1v9 the game because shutdowns are fucking broken.
Comeback mechanics shouldn't exist, why do we get punished for being better? The only champions who reliably get shutdowns are the ones who either go in and risk dying just to deal damage and try and get kills, or are the squishies who already get targeted and now just get everyone suiciding to get 1k gold when they probably only give 200. Every time I made a huge comeback from an unwinnable position, it was because I got 1k shutdowns, I still remember the time I got around 2k from one guy because he was just so fed that the bounty didn't have time to lower when he respawned and died to me again, suddenly it went from "I'm strong but need to be careful" to "Oh now I have my items, GG".

I would like to see top players try LOL without shutdowns, without tower plates and without passive runes.
It would force everyone to play waaay more tactical and would make the games less snowbally.
Maybe because im an old Dota player, but the gold and snowball potential has always been unbalanced in LOL imo.
Yet dota has turtling, that is beyond broken lol
it also doesn't make sense a lot of champions can't do as much with a gold lead or die really easily or are in a risky position so a 1k bounty seems dumb and then some champions snowball really hard so it doesn't make sense that the trajectory of a game can make a huge difference say if your akali mid got a couple shutdowns vs if your support blitz somehow last hit them.

Would like to see some sort of change like shutdown gold totals scaling slower with melee champs, at least tried out for a bit. Would make evasive melee champs like Akali and Ekko a little crazy, but they can be nerfed appropriately if the system changes are overall liked

Since they added the bounty system i thought it was a bad idea, its like they punish you for playing well. I know that is for make the games combackable but, if you dont like to lose then improve and maybe you will win more games, is stupid to punish good players and reward bad ones. For example, someone can have the better laning phase of their lives and leave the lane 4/0/6 and that doesnt matter bc the bounty system. Only my opinion here

@@Dkdnxia yes it is. The whole system was made to make games like those winnable. If you're shit at the game that's your problem and that's the reason why your enemy laner will get bounty after going 4/0 vs you in lane. So that the actually good player on your team can at least try to carry. And there is also other side of it. After you went 0/4 you give less gold so that the enemy can't just farm you for 300g every minute
@@realiance4266 yeah i get your point but, i think the players should be rewardedfor being good, for exaple, if i leave lane 0/4 at 12 minutes means that he killed me 4 times and he get 1200 gold from that, and probably he gets 700 gold bounty meaning that, if i kill him only one time, all the effort from my oponent is going to be useless bc i get 1000 in one kill, nearly the same my oponent had for laning very good for 12 minutes

Honestly just change the bounty system to what dota has, the higher a persons gpm, the more gold they’re worth, and the more assist gold they give upon death. Obviously not numbers as high as dota, bc their items cost more and they have buybacks and what not, but cap it at something like ~500/600 gold for gpm and assist gold staying the same as it currently is.
Maybe just don't int if you're ahead? crazy how bounties make it so that if you're behind in a game you have an opportinuty to come back if the enemy team fucks up, which should be harder to do for them since they're ahead, almost as if it were a great positive mechanic for the game and allowed for games to not be over after the game going bad in the first 10 minutes (even if people with shitty mentals will spam ff 15 it's not almost never the case the game is lost)
It’s not even a “don’t int” situation, it’s literally a “if you die once with this it’s the same as them getting a penta” killing 1 person once gives you 4 1/3rd kills worth of gold just because they made a single misplay after getting fed
Not to mention, if both teams have someone who's already ahead and the ahead player collects a 1k bounty, the game is usually just over.

Shutdown gold may be too big, but enemy team was ahead 3500 gold 1 minute before you ended the game.
I see your point. It's frustrating that Sylas might lose gold even if he wins 1v2. But then his team should be able to win 4v3 and get gold/objective from that.
I guess they could make the highest bounty 600 instead of 700, but not much lower than that IMO.
As much as I hate shutdown gold rat and his team played it smart since midgame and just didn't allow enemy team to do anything
if the enemy is that far ahead you should just lose.
Issue here is the Rakan Support and overall lack of CC. He didn't win this game from bounties, the game is so very different if Rakan gets a flanked R. Even in the video, the only thing rat had to look out for was a Sylas E and Ashe R. If Rakan is Amumu or Blitzcrank, the game ends much sooner. Even then though, going 14/1 in 15 minutes in high elo is extremely rare (Check Makkro or Baus for example).
Obv the video is meant for fun and not actual discussion on bounties.
@@wediscoit1989 That's very subjective. Riot obviously disagrees with you. I find it sort of beautiful that comebacks are possible, because I don't think early game champions should be rewarded too much. I do, however, agree that some absurd comebacks are possible because of this system.

Tbh, I will go against the norm and say I enjoy the bounty system. It gives the chance of comeback a meaning.
The thing with bounties is, you have to be able to carry and not die. If you do put yourself in a position that you might die, you have to be able to trade something that is worth your bounty. If you trade one for one cause you forced something when you have a bounty, the game is just punishing you for being dumb and not playing recklessly. Silas in this game died a couple times when he had bounties cause he was playing too aggressive without knowing where everyone was cause he thought he was huge, giving up a 1k and 950g bounty.
I rather there be bounties than no bounties cause if Silas continued to play that way, super aggressive and dying 1 for 1, after getting that far ahead, it is basically impossible to stop him. Cause you'll always have to bring multiple people to stop him from doing what he wants. And even then, if he trades 1 for 1 cause he's that far ahead when you bring multiple people, as long as his teammates are competent, they'll be getting objectives elsewhere. Ashe wouldn't have been as useless if she was in a side lane pushing when 2-3 people had to worry about Silas.
imo shut downs shouldnt be more then 2x the gold- going 3x+ just makes the game unplayable at some point when you are fed- you go from steam rolling to literally having to play like a puppy so you dont give an insane amount to the potential carry of the enemy team. legit running it down on the enemy support is a strat on that and its sad
yep its crazy to play against sylas 14/1 and yet manage to win that game , also one man cannot carry the team if they really suck at it
thats not the point though, Rats team got 3k gold off the few kills they landed on sylas which is what turned the game rapidly.
Its not like everyone else on the other team was hard losing and just sylas was 1v5, the bounty system put sylas in a poition that despite being the giga carry he could only carry by risking throwing thousands of gold at them. whats even more crazy is sometimes you are better off inting into someone who can't use your bounty to carry the game (give shut down to janna or yuumi so the nocturn can't get 800 gold + off you)

1k gold is 3-4 kills but they need like 7 8 kills to get it

yes but when ur mid yasuo is Inting and lets say xerath mid randomly has 1k bounty and then ur adc collects it who is already ahead and he just 1v9's of that, the bounty shouldnt only be for the player who inted against the xerath so the yasou can get back into game if anything
@@DensenBro yeah and then take 25% for an assist and 20% for kills so if the fed xerath spends 4300 from macro and micro then you’ll get 860 but if some got an assist they’ll get 215 and you’ll get 625

To win in lol you don't need to be very good but very consistent. Making 8 great plays and 2 bad ones is worse than making 10 decent plays. Kind of stupid but it's the way the game is made.
"unskilled". Yea it is unskilled that a fed player got killed multiple times when they had a clear massive advantage, also lost a baron that they shouldn't have. Bounties are one of the VERY FEW healthy mechanics left in the game, leave it alone.

No they don't, they encourage NOT being lazy when you're ahead, you have to die or lose a teamfight for bounties to matter, and guess what you shouldn't be dying or losing if you're already ahead enough to have bounties

You get to sit there and wait for your moment to strike. You can fuck off and afk farm for 20 minutes and there's 1k waiting for you in the pocket of an assassin that thinks you've forgotten about him when in reality you've been keeping tabs on him because he's the only player that can stop you.
