Our teacher show flocabulary on her smart board every time we learned something new
This is great, except for the very last part about the prince. 'They' and all of its derivative forms (their, theirs, them) have been in use as singular for centuries. The royal plural (usually 'we') is also acceptable outside of this convention.
Further, they, them and theirs are now more commonly used for our gender non-binary or questioning students and staff. @Flocabulary, can you please update to go with our more inclusive gender norms?
@@lizzimazal6088 Um if you’re talking about peoples choices in pronouns then I don’t think that they should try to teach them all to kids . There’s too many at this point , and someone can call themselves whatever they want , all power to them, but in the standard English language there should only be two sets and with an optional third for individuals, however I don’t even see the point in teaching that one unless the kid is actually curious . Additionally, for a non English speaker or a younger transfer student the pronoun situation is completely out of hand, English is not the only language and should the respective countries using it decide to create pronouns , a person shouldn’t get offended or hurt if you are referred to as your biological sex to the visual deduction of the viewer .
