These Giant Dueling Top Hatted Banjoists Remind Me of Daft Punk 'Around The World'. Great Energy and performances from Spike Jones and his Band.

My Dad loved Spike Jones, used to listen to him a lot when I was a kid and I hated him, I thought he was silly. Now I love him, so talented.
My Dad introduced me to Spike Jones & I introduced my kids to him in 1980's . . The guy presenting the "rifle" award was Jim Backus = Character Actor and Voice of Mr. Magoo cartoon - James Dean's Dad in "Rebel Without A Cause"

Jim Backus played Thurston Howell III on Gilligan's Island, was the voice of Mr. Magoo, oh, and was in a little cult movie called Rebel Without a Cause too.
Spot on! Now you say all that it makes perfect sense! He looks like Mr Magoo😃. I've never seen Gilligan's Island (maybe some clips on tv programmes) but that voice is un-mistakeable. His bluster is so recogniseable to me that I think I must have seen him in some other movie or regular TV series when I was young. It will come to me. Cheers! Peter

Joe Siracusa was Spike's drummer and built a lot of the special props Spike used. After Spike's death, Joe carried on the legacy with his own Phunharmonic band, which featured surviving members of The City Slickers. Fun fact: Thd DePatie-Freleng animation company, here in the USA contracted Joe to compose theme music and special pieces for their series and dpecisls, many of which featured the Phunharnonic. THE GRINCH GRINCHES THE CAT IN THE HAT has a scene featuring their rendition of Dvorak's "Humoresque"
