I watched a lot of videos to get to this three-part series. And I learned more in these three videos than I have all of the others combined. I would recommend these to anyone regardless of what your art is. Thanks for your hard work in putting these together.

This is wonderful, I am starting from scratch. I have had to quarantine due to a heart condition and lost my job. Zero help, trying to pick up and do events and sell from my website. Having such a thorough and easy to follow checklist is invaluable. I have ideas and THIS will make my tent an engaging experience for my clients.

Mr. Meier your the best.. thank you for such a wealth of information. Im getting ready to do my very first show and finding your videos was a blessing. I love all the little details that most of us first timers would never have taught off. I truly feel much more confident than I did prior to your videos. Thanks sir.

Fantastic speaker. Very informative. As someone thinking about doing craft shows, this is so helpful. Many are things I would have had to learn the had way.

Really good series for the newbie thinking of and working on inventory and a booth set up. Helpful TIP ideas. Some maybe better for the start up who can afford all the items they need, but much of it is just as useful for the low budget startup crafter.

Kinda blows my mind people leaving or trying to leave the class early, they either paid or this was free, if I paid for something and you wanted to go longer, I’d stay for sure, if this was free, I’d def stay longer if you wanted to keep talking especially after all this awesome advise. Clearly those that wanted to leave were the vendors who sit in their booths in folding chairs and read books and wonder why they get no customers… by the way great use of binge watching an hour and a half class on UA-cam. I’ll bet these pull in tons of watch time all the time.

Brilliant! Thanks Hans. I did a few shows last year selling custom guitars and Art made on a lathe. They were all indoor but I know I will need a tent and you gave a lot of good info on that and other issues. (Sentinel Guitars and Montana Wood Art).

Hans is a wealth of knowledge. When you get a tent do some research some shows only allow a certain color (normally white) and maximum size.

Hans I use too do Train shows. I sold and demonstrated Hand laying Track tools for modelers to hand lay their Track on their home layout. I was a Fast Track Dealer. I had a laptop running a video showing how to use the tools. This includes Turn outs or switch track. I did the work right in front of the people, I always had a crowd in front of my Booth Train shows are inside of a large Building so weather was not a problem. They were most of the time put on by Model Railroad clubs. The better shows were hard too get into, and you could reserve a spot in next year show as you left the one you were at. I was always a preferred Vendor, because of the Fast Track name. I had a black table drop with the Fast TrackEmblem on it on white. The better shows you arrived would offer too help you unload and get you in your booth. and help you reload your stuff at the end of the show. Always had a successful shows. Hand laying track is one of the thing that creates a smooth running Model Railroad. I did not sell ready made turn outs, I sold the tools to do it, and I could teach new model Railroads the lost art, I sold tools, and supplies such as Scale Ties, Spikes, Rail and Jigs to build them in. and had DVD's too show them how too do it, and gave them away free to anyone who wanted one with my Business Card so they could stay in touch with me if they needed anything or more help in the future. I had a website, and was set up with Pay Pal. It all work well for me. The bigger shows would have door traffic in the thousands, The Oklahoma show was 25,000 door.

What’s the size of your MOVING VAN that you need to transport everything you need to do your shows?

  • @walnutcreekwoodworksofjack3520

most all your program was good. However, if I were to stand all day at these craft shows I would be in pain. I've had those card readers before. Nobody ever wanted to use them. Not planning to get another one.
