Well, my logic said that none can represent the infinity as a whole And an image can't represent it as well. But well, let me try with counting I going to count toward infinity, starting now *counting...*
is video is created by using Fractal. Fractal is the repetition of an equation to create a changing pattern thus this video is based on math and the infinite repetition of fractal. this is also render and iterated using computer which is based on math and was created by mathematician and invented by mathematician the very comment u type is using math.
Brilliant video, and thank you so much for using Moonlight Sonata. I don't think there is a more perfect piece of music to watch fractals by! Loved watching this one!
I don't understand any argument that mathematics is purely a human creation which effectively measures and quantifies the entire universe, it seems to make more sense that it's a foundation of the universe itself. Fractals are the most common visual experiences caused by serotonergic drugs, even for users who have never even heard the word 'fractal' or have any understanding of what it is. The study of fractals is relatively very new, since computers are needed to draw them, yet for thousands of years they have been seen by primitive peoples who ingest natural psychedelics such as psilocybin and ayahuasca. MRI scans of human brains under the influence of psychedelics have shown unique communication between parts of the brain which do not usually send signals between each other. The fractal hallucinations are not caused by the hallucinogenic chemicals themselves, but are just extensions of the subconscious, signals from parts of the brain which used less in processing external visual information. If users of these chemicals see fractal patterns and other complex mathematical imagery, such as sacred geometry, without even being aware of it consciously, then how can these concepts be a human invention rather than a foundation of nature itself? It's accepted that humans have evolved to think logarithmically, as there are known parts of our brain which allow us to count in a logarithmic fashion. Considering all this, I can't see how mathematics can be a human creation and not a concept that defines nature and it's existence.
I think human academia has been so set (no pun intended) on the idea that numbers are inherently concrete when in actuality they're also abstractions of a more fluid reality
Tinkerman .Prime I agree with you that math is not a human invention but I think it was a foundation before there was a “nature” or anything else for that matter. My thought is that we’re getting a glimpse into the mind of God, creator, intelligent designer, builder, mathematician etc. IMHO
This is commonly referred to in Western philosophy as Platonism. In eastern philosophy, particularly in the Vedas, this has been known and described for millennia.
What's really impressive is that the complex number we have been zooming all along is actually the part of the set but we have to look really, really deep to find that out. I was wondering, how this video is going to end, and there is hardly a more satisfying way to do it. Knowing, that this is really the end, is much satisfying.
Once a DMT entity told me that all substance in the universe is made from tiny self-duplicating fractiles that are perfect in unity and highly intelligent on their own
When I think deep about reality and what I am and what life is and the role I'm playing in it... I can almost feel like my brain hurts that is the only thing stopping me from thinking it. The most time I have thought of it is when I was staring my bathroom mirror. Now I'm just trying to forget it
Amok Tribal I know exactly what you mean. I must've been 8 or 9 staring into my bathroom mirror realizing I am human and we are all human and how insignificant everything really was.
Porn is wrong. Lust means no respect. Life is about progress and caring for each other, no respect and loosing life force/ prana (sperm=life force) are not worth to be a goal. If you feel lust, let it be, it will go away. Be aware of what you are doing. And look into meditation, it heals you on all levels.

But hold on tight because here we go anyways!" Which would then result in, yes.. haha a million more questions.
Quite the opposite in fact. The Mandlebrot set is an incredibly simple relationship. The parts normally rendered in black are the convergent points in the set, the colors represent how quickly the other points diverge towards infinity. There is nothing magical or supernatural about it. It shows how a simple relationship can lead to very complex behaviour, that there is order in chaos, and helps us understand how such simple relationships lead to the complex universe we live in.
@@tonychristney2728 Yeah that's God for ya. Incredibly simple answers with incredibly profound depth and implications for anyone willing to go along for the ride. Some would even suggest the depth to be eternal.
@@TheBelovedDisciple144 how can you define properties of a being who is by definition supernatural? You can't tell us anything about God, if he exists.
The Mandelbrot set is the set of complex numbers c for which the function f_c(z)=z²+c does not diverge when iterated from z=0, i.e., for which the sequence f_c(0), f_c(f_c(0)), etc., remains bounded in absolute value.

this happens because you get mildly hypnotized, & your eyes & brain adjust to cope with continuous movement. so that, when you shift your gaze away, they continue to interpret everything as movement, for a few seconds then they reboot. you can see a simmilar effect if you stare at a fast flowing river until you go into a trance, then shift your gaze to the opposite bank. all the rocks, trees, etc, sway to & fro, as if there was an earthquake ! i call it "the landslide effect" it is a hypnoticaly induced natural hallucination. ive been able to do it to myself since i was a child.
The function generates an integer value for any given coordinate. If two coordinates return the same value, they get the same color. The colors are completely arbitrary and can be chosen for artistic effect. The function is a loop that either exits within a certain predefined number of iterations or doesn't. The number of iterations it takes to exit is the value returned by the function. If the function doesn't exit in that number of iterations, a value is returned to indicate this. if the function is called with a higher maximum iteration value, more of that black area will have a color other than black, as more coordinates return a value.
to generate the mandelbrot set you enter the equivalent of x/y numbers of a coordinate set into the formula z->z²+c. the -> instead of the usual = means that you feed the result back into the formula.if you do that repeatedly, the result will either go towards infinity, or it wont. For each pixel It becomes clear after a number of runs if it goes to infinity or it belongs to the mandelbrot set and will be black. the number of runs through the formula it takes to be sure that a starting-pixel-coordinate will definitely go to infinity is the iteration number mentioned. you can now give each iteration number a color. all points in the final image that take the same number of runs to go to infinity will get that same color. sorry, but eli5 for something that complex is hardly possible. this might help you a bit: www.fractal.institute/generate-mandelbrot-set/

I didn't know math could be so beautiful. Awesome.
Where is this math
is video is created by using Fractal. Fractal is the repetition of an equation to create a changing pattern thus this video is based on math and the infinite repetition of fractal. this is also render and iterated using computer which is based on math and was created by mathematician and invented by mathematician the very comment u type is using math.
vinh nguyen don’t forget the very vibrations and electric signals in your brain are also run on math lol
vinh nguyen very nice
Basically, math is everywhere
Brilliant video, and thank you so much for using Moonlight Sonata. I don't think there is a more perfect piece of music to watch fractals by! Loved watching this one!

I love this, and it always blows my mind that every now and again you see what seems to be the start again. I don't even pretend to understand that!
Underrated comment.
Tinkerman .Prime
I agree with you that math is not a human invention but I think it was a foundation before there was a “nature” or anything else for that matter.
My thought is that we’re getting a glimpse into the mind of God, creator, intelligent designer, builder, mathematician etc. IMHO
This is commonly referred to in Western philosophy as Platonism. In eastern philosophy, particularly in the Vedas, this has been known and described for millennia.
i can confirm that ive seen fractals on my shroom trip

Complexity from simplicity. Emergence.
What's really impressive is that the complex number we have been zooming all along is actually the part of the set but we have to look really, really deep to find that out. I was wondering, how this video is going to end, and there is hardly a more satisfying way to do it. Knowing, that this is really the end, is much satisfying.
That was fantastic! I loved it. Thanks *so* much for sharing it with us!

seeing this after a porn is profoundly destabilizing
Try it before porn
Porn is wrong. Lust means no respect. Life is about progress and caring for each other, no respect and loosing life force/ prana (sperm=life force) are not worth to be a goal. If you feel lust, let it be, it will go away. Be aware of what you are doing. And look into meditation, it heals you on all levels.

Total noob here. Can someone please explain what the different colors represent and how they are represented from plotting the mandelbrot set?
The function generates an integer value for any given coordinate. If two coordinates return the same value, they get the same color. The colors are completely arbitrary and can be chosen for artistic effect.
The function is a loop that either exits within a certain predefined number of iterations or doesn't. The number of iterations it takes to exit is the value returned by the function. If the function doesn't exit in that number of iterations, a value is returned to indicate this.
if the function is called with a higher maximum iteration value, more of that black area will have a color other than black, as more coordinates return a value.
Ah, I see. Thanks for the insight!
the colours represent each iteration.
to generate the mandelbrot set you enter the equivalent of x/y numbers of a coordinate set into the formula z->z²+c. the -> instead of the usual = means that you feed the result back into the formula.if you do that repeatedly, the result will either go towards infinity, or it wont.
