Just superb. I remember buying Crises when it came out and still love it to this day. It's so sad that Phil is no longer with us but his music and enthusiasm live on. Thanks for posting this and well done on such a great performance.
You brought me in High places guys, I know this song and how difficult it is to perform. Btw the outro in well found. Thanks for this moment of pleasure, Cheers from France.
This is fantastic work!!! Well done! What a song! Seems like you used the original fairlight synth samples from the album, that's phenomenal. Man I miss Phil Spalding, can't believe he's gone.
Quien es ella ? Excelente voz, no es fácil llegar a los tonos de Anderson. De los mejores covers del rock progresivo. Quien me puede decir auien es ella ? Tienen ellos mas trabajos ?
... welldone - love it !! Rob - you could have mentioned Phil Spalding on Bass 👌(!!) Drummer does great job "replacing" Simon - as everyone does great - WOW !!
Magnifique. Superbe voix (pas facile de passer après jon anderson et barry palmer!). De plus, on dirait bien que c'est enregistré dans le même studio que celui utilisé par Mike Oldfield en 1983 (à cause des petits carrelages blancs sur les murs...).
Wow. Probably my favorite Oldfield song (as in song with vocals). This is truly a fantastic cover. Great singer (who is it?), great band and will it be released? Does PSO stand for Phil Spalding Obituary?
Isn’t this recorded in the same room as the original version? Tilehouse studio in Denham, where Mike lived in 1983? Probably Luke at the desk. Saw this live in 84 with Barry Palmer on vocals and Phil on bass.
You're a very talented lad Rob and this is great ,the only critique I'd give is I think you should show your appreciation and Thanks some of your viewers right? That's right you're not exactly a household name yet...but Good Luck!
As much as I love Jon Anderson, IMHO he didn't fit in this song. It's the same as in Rick Wakeman's "The Hymn": a woman is a better choice of singer than Jon
Incredibly good cover. It is extremely difficult to hit those initial notes and imitate Jon Anderson. But the singer doesn't try to do that, rather she sings her own slightly modified interpretation, adding a little vibrato here and there. This makes a very interesting version, in my opinion comparable to Anderson's original.
RIP Phil! Now you are in High Places.
This song was at Convention... Never forget You Phil...
It's not easy to live up to Jon Anderson. Bravo.
...j aime cette chanson depuis ....... Longtemps ...écoutez ce groupe m a beaucoup plu.. très belle voix.. ❤❤❤❤
One of my favourite Oldfield tunes. You just nailed it! Awesome!
Truly beautiful! The singer is incredible what a voice!!! You have breathed new life into this old gem, making it shine once again!!
Just superb. I remember buying Crises when it came out and still love it to this day. It's so sad that Phil is no longer with us but his music and enthusiasm live on.

This is an awesome rendition! The main vocals are crazy good! I had the chance to meet Phil some years ago in Spain and he was a kind-hearted guy.
Immenso Phil... RIP

Great Work! We miss U, Phil.

RiP Phil, warm memories of saxony 2018!
Wow. Probably my favorite Oldfield song (as in song with vocals). This is truly a fantastic cover. Great singer (who is it?), great band and will it be released? Does PSO stand for Phil Spalding Obituary?
No, 'Organisation' I recall. The singer is Belle Erskine. Jay Stapley is on guitar and Herve Koster on drums.
Superb song……. Superb rendition……… first rate performers
VERY well done - all of you !!
Absolutely awesome cover performance!
I am new to Rob's stuff but this reminds me a bit of Renaissance.
Where can I buy this tune? I didn’t find it on bandcamp…
Great cover !!!
Impresionante Versión! 👏👏👏 alguien sabe dónde encontrar más canciones de la banda? El nombre de la cantante? Gracias
What a voice!

0:58 SHE FUCKING SAID THE FUNNI
But... What.... Phil?? When was this recorded?
Great version, the singer did a great job with Jon Anderson's vocals. Is that Robbie McIntosh on guitar?
As much as I love Jon Anderson, IMHO he didn't fit in this song. It's the same as in Rick Wakeman's "The Hymn": a woman is a better choice of singer than Jon
It’s me on guitar.
@Jay Stapley Hi Jay, thanks for letting me know, great peeps from all of you, can you please tell me the name of the singer?
@@KNOPFLERSGOD belle erskine
@@JayStapley Thanks.
Nearly jumped through the roof when I heard this song used in a car commercial but then I discovered that it had been sampled by a rapper.

Interesting piece of music with a strange melody and rhythm. It seams to be (in most parts) in c lydian for me.
