I saw Jonathan Butler and Boney James in Las Vegas mid 90's and I was hooked on both of them. Being from Manchester, England living in the USA Going Home was a tune I could relate too.
When Covid is over Jonathan needs to organize an amazing concert I am first in line ❤️

Jonathan Butler I discovered on Saturday, 3 days ago, and it's like I've been listening to him for 36 years. He is a pillar of a "civilization", which ruled the world of music. He is one of the surviving rulers, and a member of that civilization
Music was born in Africa and always well played and performed by Africans!
Ended up listening to this thing 50 times tonight alone, Jonathan Butler blew it to pieces. I'm not nearly this moved, there's still hope that the good ones don't die out.
Saw Jonathan at the Clearwater jazz fest best outdoor performance I can remember and I've seen plenty.

"Un jour, quand j'étais encore très jeune, mon oncle me laissa quelques-une de ses cassettes de musique, après ses étude à l'université. Parmi ses cassettes se trouvait un album de Jonathan Butler . curieux d'écouter ce genre de musique que je ne connaissais que de nom, j'ai introduit ladite cassette dans le poste de mon père. Et le titre de la musique était . Mais j'ai été submergé d'émotions et de sensations fortent en mon âme tout entier! C'était incroyable!! j'ai réécouter encore cette même musique avant d'écouter ledit album entier. Depuis ce jour, j'ai découvert et aimé la musique Jazz. Je vous conseil vivement d'écouter le Jazz ou la soul music avec les oreilles de votre âme et de votre esprit mais pas seulement avec nos oreilles physiques".
