It's all psychological, when you hear Quran and you don't understand it. The recitation of the Quran, which is some sort of chanting the passages of Quran, will get into Muslims ears and automatically they get magnetised by the recitation and not by understanding its words. As I said, this is all being brain washed by believing the recitation of the Quran is actually the act of worship. So if I recite any Arabic words the same way as I recite Quran, Muslims will still take as the word of God.
Would they get magnetised when they listen to surah An-Nisah verse 34 that calls for beating of women? How about Surat Al tawbah, do they feel magnetised when they listen to how god calls for the killing of all polytheists? What about Surat Al Baqara verses 191-193?
Quran 5:57: O you who have believed, do not take as allies those who take your religion mockingly and playfully from among those who were given the Book before you or the deniers . And be mindful of Allah if you were believers.
I think he meant in a very literal sense, something like a travel guidebook. But I do take your point because I was a bit surprised to hear him say that the Quran is not a guidebook. Guidance is the main purpose of the Quran. But I'm sure he is well aware of this fact.
@rawdog8141 The Qur’aan tells humans what humanity is. Since you know yourself, then tell what humankind is?!? All that comes out of you, is nonsensical!
Well the Quran is a collection of surrounding stories and provide no guidance nd just iteration of stories. It’s not a guidebook. “You don’t listen you got hell” “momineem this that” In fact you probably don’t even know what is written. At best a poetic attempt at worst plagiarized fools book. Feel bad for you firdous nd your hoors will never be there. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 which is alright massive people are leaving Islam in MENA and South Asia. So goodbye bye 😂😂😂
Inimitability of the Qur’aan and challenge Aayaat are the creation and evolution of the existence itself, and no one has control over over his or her birth never mind the natural evolution, hence creation! And the entire Qur’aan is creation and evolution of the humankind, and the ᶜArabic language like the Qur’aan is the Heart of all the natural languages, the point from which is read the BEINGNESS and is expressed and understood it, and without understanding the expression of creation as an ᶜArabic Qur’aan in midst of evolution is misreading oneself as being of the natural evolution expressed in the midst of Allaah’s creation: «İnnaa anzalnaa-hu Qur’aanan ᶜArabiyyan, laᶜalla-kum taᶜqiluuna. = Indeed, We have Brought it Down as an ᶜArabic Qur’aan, so that you-plural may reason» Aayat two, Suuratu Yuusufa or Qur’aan 12:2 «Kitaabun fuṣṣilat aayaatu-hu Qur’aanan ᶜArabiyyan li-qawmin yaᶜlamuuna. = A Book whose verses have been detailed as an ᶜArabic Qur’aan for people who know.» Aayat three, Suuratu Fuṣṣilat or Qur’aan 41:3 «İnnaa jaᶜal-naa-hu Qur’aanan ᶜArabiyyan, laᶜalla-kum taᶜqiluuna. = Indeed, We have made it an ᶜArabic Qur’aan, so that you-plural may reason.» Aayat three, Suuratu-zZuḵrufi or Qur’aan 43:3 Learning oneself in the ᶜArabic Qur’aan!
Even if that is true? You find that surprising? I will argue more so called “Christians” don’t read their Bible more than Muslims haha. There are millions of normal muslims that have memorised at least large junks of the Quran. I highly doubt 1% of Christians on Earth have memorised the Gospel of Matthew 🤷🏾♂️
@@SOX-9Yhh I agree many hafiz of the Quran don’t know what they reciting but I hope but alhamdulillah here in the UK we are becoming in teaching the Quran to children and adults, because they also prioritise being proficient in Arabic. @ The bulk of the Quran when read literally does not relate to the Islamic religion but instead it discusses the great debates between Jews, neo Judeo-Christians, and some sects of Christianity in the region. Nowhere in the Quran do we encounter Mohammad which according to Muslims is the principal character in Islam.
@jma7600 you're not reading the same Quran I am in that case. Many many verses relate to the life, personality, challenges and mission of Muhammad. And what you said still doesn't connect to your assertion that Muslims would follow Jesus.
@@ouessantpeaches6122 You are probably reading with islamic glasses and presuppositions. I stand by what I said. Prove me wrong from the text...ie without using islamic interpretations.
@jma7600 I normally discuss with people in these comments. But you have no idea what you're talking about if you think the Qur'an doesn't deal with Muhammad. So I'll say peace. And let you have the last word. It'll be good for your ego.
A wonderful interview , I will definitely buy this book inshallah

@MohamedShou no need because all questions are answered in 'jewish Objections to Jesus' by Jewish Christian Michael L Brown.
The real challenge is to understand it, and that’s not the average Muslim’s intention.

If only Muslims could understand the Quran, they would definitely end up following Jesus.
Can you explain that?
