I recently compared the english opening and japanese opening 1, and personally I like this one much better. Many might say "it's just JPop rubbish and it is a bunch of incomprehensible words" but it means a lot. The song embodies Yugi and what he is going through. How everything is different and things that were once important are being left behind for something greater. When they say "Somehow, it seems like I'm being controlled by somebody Does my heart really belong to me?" it truly makes you understand what Yugi is feeling and how he is now coexisting with Atem in him own heart and body. Much better than "It's time to Duel!!". Still, can't complain too much, entertaining for the demographic that 4Kids is aiming for rather than Yu-Gi-Oh! original demographic.
Amy Standford Yeah those 3 sec at the beginning of mizmar + cheap techno makes it soo mystical and egyptian-like . You don't know shit about egiptian culture so GTFO, this version is light-years ahead of the 4kids one.
