Can we just appreciate this is a little1990's 4 litre V8 putting out supercar beating times on the strip? That's an amazing testament to Scotty's hard work!
This has to be Australia’s fastest white 94-96 V8 lexcen wagon … It must be those genuine headlight protectors 😂 I also wanted to see more of the green HR. It sounded mean, and I’m pretty sure I’ve seen it multiple times in SM magazine 👌
Nice work Scotty, it's one of my favourite Carnage cars (I'm a sucker for a sleeper, especially a wagon, and it's a very clever idea putting a Toyota in a "Toyota"). Love the shot of it belting past in the deep end, sounds amazing too. Must be so satisfying after all the effort you put into it. That 9 second TRX Ram isn't half bad either tbh but I really rate the Lexcen. Hope next week goes well with the ute.
10s are a pretty good range for a heavyish car that seems to have a mind of it’s own. But I can hear the distant sound of a drum roll beckoning the arrival of the Ute. All that time spent of lowering/raising the hoist is about to be justified. Best of luck boys, it’s your time to shine.
Scotty, with mod laws in vic you can put a cage in there (and a well designed cage will still allow passengers) and add a chute mount and still be street legal. I think that is what you should do after you hit that 9! And it will hit that 9.
Sounds like you need a better/bigger intercooler to take advantage of the boost available with the setup? Or just turn it up and send it on the first run and go home :)
Good one Scotty! I thought the 2nd run looked sedate but you got a good number & yes you had a really good final run. I agree that it can get into the 9's. Bit of a bugger starting to lose oil, but hey it's a weight reduction!
Morning Scotty another awesome video mad way to start a Friday Morning, You were talking about the engine making a bit of heat change the front number plate to slim line might help a bit for better air flow?
Scotty's a learning animal. Don't tempt fate by calling it. On a serious note, I think "people" in general look less of a dick if they don't make crazy predictions and fail. Was that some blue smoke we saw on the last run? Maybe a bit of oil on the exhaust.
Hey Scotty when you said the dr's didnt fit and you ran that quick on nankangs was it the nankang drag radials or the ar1's? Looking for a decent 16 for a 12 second car and nt555r's seem non existent these days.
Must be a lot of VL's getting around with all the other options taken cos you know , no one would know what it is without the WALKY plate on there. Typical Holden fans. You know the best way to tell a LC from a LJ? Look at the number plate lol.
to run a 9sec you may want to do a better 60ft time, to me it sounding like its taking for ever to come up on boost, spray some happy gas in the boostmaker to have boost come up quicker???? just a thought
Its a very well know fact toyota and Yamaha pushed the 1uz to 2000 hp in there rnd not to make big hp but to settle on its development.tbis engine and its engineering was that far advanced it was craxy.
Back in the eighties a mare that worked for Repco here in NZ told me they had this idiot come in and asking for some spare for a Toyota V8 engine he had. He told me how they all laughed at him and there was no such thing as a Toyota V8. I proceeded to tell him who the real idiots were. At the time there was a small amount being imported, if I recall they were little 2.5 litre motors of the time. He looked rather shocked and indicated that's what the man had told them.

I was a little upset that I didn't see the usual dash matt go flying on the first run 😂
Yeah, where is the dash mat? It’s good luck
Same
It's OK, the back seat had you covered for interior shenanigans.
@johnnym3387 Back seat flop replaced the dash mat as the special feature this week
The back seat coming down was like speed mode ENGAGED lol
Love ya Scotty but I'm all commo'd out at the moment. Will resume watching when something interesting turns up. cheers.

The TRX is awesome, but it probably cost 10x as much
@@STREETMACHINETV agreed, not worth the money - just a sight to see something that size running a 9!
Great run and yes I agree with you on pulling out as you don’t want to be the one blamed for oil everywhere. That car has so much more in it.

Achievement unlocked: Kicked out! ;) nice work on the sleeper wagon 👌
Scotty the trick of calling your number at the drag strip on your intro of the video is to film the intro after the video is complete 😂
Lol
😂
Yeah, but that's not how I roll. I'm the one UA-cam who calls it how it is.
@@STREETMACHINETVand that’s why we love your work mate, your integrity is way bigger than your ego 😊
Congratulations Scotty! it's been awesome watching this build come together! Great result. Looking forward to next time it hits the track!
Well done Scotty! Quite a bit of smoke under the car every run, definitely a decent oil leak
Some of it was tyre rubbing
Please continue to develop this car. It's by far one of the builds I've enjoyed the most.
Congrats on the PB, Scotty.
I didn’t realise how much I wanted a RAM TRX until this video…
But you have to get one to realise how much you never wanted one in the first place.
@@HazeyAuto Silverado Z71?
@@johnc3522 nah, the nine second TRX in the video, not Scotty’s tow vehicle.
@@victorbitter583 a nine second family hauler that tows? I think I can put up with that.
Good job, Scotty. Hopefully, it's just a loose fitting. I'm looking forward to see what the ute can do.
Live and learn eh? Zane to the rescue and a New PB :-)

They'll just take it to heathcote, the scammer that runs the place will let you run anything at any speed
Great to see all the hard work paying off! Can’t wait to see the Ute run some numbers too.
Well done Scotty and team 👌
Sounds like you need a better/bigger intercooler to take advantage of the boost available with the setup? Or just turn it up and send it on the first run and go home :)
WOW that last pass was SOOOO close to 219 KM's a hour / Down a quarter mile !!!!!!! that's fast for any Wagon !
Good one Scotty! I thought the 2nd run looked sedate but you got a good number & yes you had a really good final run. I agree that it can get into the 9's. Bit of a bugger starting to lose oil, but hey it's a weight reduction!
So sad the state of Calder park nowadays. I remember the top fuel cars running down there as a kid now it looks like an abandoned ghost town
joke of a place no prep racing should be called lol
Top work Scotty!!! Taking that wagoon down to HPR will guarantee a 9 for sure 👍🍻
Well done boys!!
Thanks. You keep making them, I'll watch 'em.
Keen to see see this weapon in the 9's 👍 whens the cage going in Scotty?
No cage for this one
Perfect family wagon Scotty🏁and the family ute is probably better))
Thank God the two blokes in that ute had a roll cage. Great job Scotty and Zane.
Morning Scotty another awesome video mad way to start a Friday Morning, You were talking about the engine making a bit of heat change the front number plate to slim line might help a bit for better air flow?
Or take it off while racing
Good job mate, can’t wait to see how the Ute goes.
tears of pride, been here since day 1, keep sending it
Congratulations mate and it's alive still.
Dashmat off?...... Check
Backseat fall over... Check
Awesome job Scotty and Zane.
That's quick, good work crew
Super keen to see the Ute in action🔥🔥
Nice work Scotty.
Time for an intercooler upgrade maybe or cryo or nitrous to cool those IT’s down a bit… then game on 9’s 🙌🏻
Go the Lexie!!
Well done !
so a 10.50 gets you kicked out for no cage i thought most tracks had a 9.99 for no cage limit
Depends on year model and sanctioning body
Ohh congrats on the new PB's.
Dude you could do a full episode just on that pick-up👌👌👌
Can you tow the Ute with the Lexen ❤
That car is so awesome.
you effin mad mannnn i love 1UZ !!
Well done
nice one scotty
Not bad with the handbrake on ... 😄
Great job
Great stuff

Could have been oil on the exhaust or could have been tyre smoke from a minor bit of guard rub on the tyres

NS2R's
@@STREETMACHINETV damn heaps of 15's but no decent 16" sizes.
The white shark hunting for the nines soon
Procharge need to sponsor you some nice turbos “ exhaust housings might be a bit small
Well done on the Lexcen.
But of a fail on the WKLSHW (walkinshaw) plates though. Should be WLKSHW or WKNSHW. His name’s not Waklinshaw
Must be a lot of VL's getting around with all the other options taken cos you know , no one would know what it is without the WALKY plate on there.

Love it!! 😂
Greart vid as usual fellas but that music used in the audio sounded distorted as shit just saying 🙂
She needs high and soft springs in the rear to get it to sag and hook up a bit better.
I miss the crappy cars time to bring back the toxic avenger mark 2 !!!
Funny you should say that. Currently working on our Version of Toxic😊
You sound all commo'd out. I know I am. cheers.
cool vid cobber

Crazy fast
Needs an intercooler upgrade. Other than that, though, all you need is a better tune and intake manifold and your car goes nines😎
Drag staging... Engage maximum cargo carrying ability 🤣.
The Toyota Racing Complete Lexcen can do an 8 second pass with Toyota Kluger All Wheel Drive system upgrade.
Bring it back to Heathcote Park ffs Scotty
Whys the factory hand break up in all the runs?
It's not on, but yeah it's stuck in the up position
headlight protectors stayed on .
Yep, they sure did
🤙
Good morning, TGIF.👍
Run Scotty Run.
GO THE 1UZ 😎👌
Get water methanol injection, it will seriously reduce those IAT's, and then you can add more boost and timing.

RTS Striker
@STREETMACHINETV thanks mate 👍

Yeah, those little Hemi Toyota V8's were cool
I recall they were advertised in NZ Hotrod, early Jap engine imports.
The look on his face was priceless when I told him.
either a better intercooler, or just add water/meth injection. then you will be in the 9's. Nice work Scotty

That surface is a waste of time and money. The return road has more grip.
It was okay, but yeah, not prepped at all really. Takes me back to old days of drag racing and no prep surfaces

Sounds like you’ve just eaten and are short on breath…Maybe a weight reduction will get you nines on the quarter.
