Nice paddling. If I’m correct your boof stroke got you over some of those holes nicely. I’m a learner on grade 3, only just learning that stroke, looked like you used it well on this run
@@oscarhenry6243 Yeah now I’m getting able to run a bit on class 3 I can appreciate the skills needed to take on a run like this. Your scorch seems to be a great boat for those quick angle corrections. I demoed one and noticed how manouverable it was. I’m paddling a wave sport phoenix. It’s fast and great fun, but hard to change direction quickly. I end up just busting through stuf, because I know I won’t make it around in time lol. What grade are those rapids? Look at least class 4 to me
@@oscarhenry6243 I watched again, yeah the prijon was actually the better paddling by the look of it. Some very quick angle corrections there, and had to be. You’re obviously a very highly skilled paddler. I will have to try the prijon should I get the chance. It looks a fantastic boat. Do you rate it above the scorch? Where I’m paddling at the moment the scorch seems very popular, I liked it, but I’m liking the look of the prijon also now

Thank you ! This river is quite technical and some of them are tricky to boof. A lot of maneuvering and angle corrections too :)

@@MrPistolpete1234 Would say the first part in Scorch are mostly IV and the second part in Prijon mostly V
