I watched Gayle and Tina make these. Now watching you. It's awesome how each of you put your own twist onto the basic idea and each is just as awesome as the others !! Love how you did the butterfly's wing tip. He can still fly lol !!
It's been snowing in the Netherlands! It hasn't been snowing like this for a long time! It's a wonderful winter wonderland here. Although it has it's downsides with freezing rainpipes and our balcony that was full of melting snow.
They're fabulous! I really needed to watch something relaxing and was totally absorbed. I enjoyed watching you piecing it all together and forgot about all of life's stressors. Tfs
Love these side tucks. I don’t usually use these but now....all over this! I have seen other UA-camrs who pause the video and do the sewing then show us what it looks like after the sewing. Just a thought. Also wanted to say that i think the decorating technique of the same design on both parts of the side tuck is really clever. Cheers
You are such a creative lady and such an inspiration! Your videos are the first I gravitate towards while I craft , I enjoy your creativness and your humor very much. Buona giornata!
Relaxing with your videos all snuggled up keeping warm... -47 degrees Celsius here on the Canadian Prairies! 🇨🇦 Lots and lots of snow here too! Love your videos Rachael can hardly wait for the next one! Your such an inspiration 💞💞
Oh, I do love these, simple yet elegant, will have to try making some! And I will never tire of watching you say " Oh, I might like this", then fussy cutting something, then tossing it aside or fussy tearing something and then tossing it aside in utter rejection! 😅
Yeah she is kind of habit forming lol. I watch her all day when I’m in my craft room. I like listening to her and have learned so much from her. Rachel we are getting more snow this week, I will mail it all to you🤗☃️❄️
I like the idea of continuing the floral scene across the pocket edge. Clever. I write down these ideas to use for when I get serious about actually making a journal. I think my first journal will be an idea book! 😉 These are cute. TFS. 🤗
Hi just love your 45min challenge..... Love watching the process.... Of the papers and colours you choose..... I'm so hooked.... Just got to wait to get my new place before I can unpacked all my crafty stash.... Your giving me my mojo back..... As I'm just been living out of suit case for over 18months now.... So watching you brightens my week... Sending blessings, love light and happiness to you and yours stay safe x
It is cold here - lows of 13°F 🥶 And snow, too ❄️❄️❄️ I need a beachy vacation soon! Enjoying your weekly challenge! I’ve done one, but it took my way over 45 minutes 😆 TFS
It's still fairly cold here. We had 5 robins in our front yard today. We call that 'kitty tv' in our house - we put birdseed and fruit out for ther birds and squirrels.
Love these Rachel!!! I think I need to try your challenge for myself. Although... me and 45 minutes 🤔😳😬 Sheesh... let’s just keep our fingers crossed lol. 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 TFS!!! Hugs, Sharon 🌷💜
That was fun, thank you. As I work from home it is difficult to find a block of time that I am not interrupted, but I do make all your challenges but at my own time. Hugs Aussie girl.
Well, I’ve just made one out of a fragile piece of book page and the first orphaned piece of ephemera I came across in my mess. Stash.👀 My lessons are to use stronger book page , raise the bar a bit on what I’ll settle for, remember to bring the glue upstairs and you are SO lucky to have antique markets. Sigh. We are enjoying the after-snow day. A few stragglers fluttering. Everybody’s off work/school. Could have been worse . But we can’t find Moncton...(3 hours drive from us). They usually get the most snow.
Well Rachael I asked Siri what the temperature is in Celcius. -10.6 and it's getting colder later. It's been snowing all day on top of the 10 inches we already have. I'm ready for Spring! The double tucks are going in my idea book.
Love the tucks! I am going to make some. I am in Montana, USA. We had -25 this am . we have about 14" of snow so a great day to watch videos and get inspired!
It’s so bitterly cold here in the middle of Kansas, USA. We have some snow (2 inches) that fell on top of icey rain and our wind chill is -7 degrees Fahrenheit. Totally staying in. This next week the temperature won’t be above the teens.
Oh wow ! I love these ! I so much like the same paper !! It is Valentines Day today - very cold here in Illinois with more snow on the way ! Thanks for the great video!!! Love this challenge
Really enjoyed this. Forecast for the week here: Tues, Wednesday, Thurs, Snow, Friday cloudy.....Saturday and next Sunday snow. Ahhh winter.....hahaha. I miss getting out for flea markets, I miss looking for books... and such, though around my area there isn't much to choose from....still fun to look for treasures. Thanks for sharing...loving the papers you are using.
I haven't done these for ages. These turned out so lovely. I do laughed when you cut the butterfly and than added the little bit on the lower page.😂 x Catherine
Need to mass make some of these. Beautiful day here. Upper 60’s, sunny. Had a doctors appointment. I get a Prolia shot every 6 months. It’s for osteoporosis. Hope it’s helping.
Great challenge tutorial, these are very pretty, love the mixture of colors and florals. Did LuLu transform her piece of clothing she was working on the other day? Nice she has an interest in sewing.
You just crossed the line. Two. Yikes. I’m doing okay. We have lots of snow it was -2 yesterday and snow is due this week. I’m going crazy and as Steve would say it’s a short punt.
These look like fun to make. Would this be a place to use the embroidery trims both you and Gayle have (or did have at one time) in your Etsy shops? They are long and narrow and should fit most of these pieces.
I have never seen these before so how do you attach them to the page? Ours are very nice. I was watching another video and she was making them but did not show how to attach them either but linked you so here I am. ❤️
They are side tucks so they can be glued on 2 sides on the edge of a page or on 3 sides if the page is smaller. Another way can be glue on the top and bottom edge so they become belly bands. Thank you so much!
hi Rachel, these creations will be very handy. I'll get on to them in the morning. What was the name of the shop where you purchased the stripey wrapping paper? Didn't quite catch it.
I made it. I have a video it was video one in my gift ideas for Christmas 2019. I have a playlist for those so you should be able to find it easily. Thank you so much!
I love these! Because I had a problem yesterday, I am wondering how do you glue heavier pieces like this in a journal after you load it with the tags, and not have it pull on the page it’s glued to? (I hope that makes sense)
So awesome and so fun to do. Loved watching this video. Thanks Rachel🌺💝🌸
Thank you so much!
Oh I love those tucks! You are so creative!!💕💕
Thank you so much!
I love to watch you collage!
Thank you so much!

Sounds beautiful!

Love the simplicity of these, and they are pretty and useful too. Thank you.
Thank you so much!
Freezing cold here in Northern Colorado. No snow but we have a chance of it on Sunday. I must say Rachel, you know how to work a glue bottle!
Thank you so much!

Great challenge tutorial, these are very pretty, love the mixture of colors and florals. Did LuLu transform her piece of clothing she was working on the other day? Nice she has an interest in sewing.
She did, it's much more acceptable now! Thank you so much!
Nice
Thank you so much!
I posted my tucks on Instagram I got 5 done but went over a few minutes because I had to color the bunnies in. Lol🤗🤗
I saw them they are fab!
Rachel, Sarah sounds just like you. I watched her "snippet showing" wow!
It's wonderful!

hi Rachel, these creations will be very handy. I'll get on to them in the morning. What was the name of the shop where you purchased the stripey wrapping paper? Didn't quite catch it.
I bought it at Dirty Janes in Bowral. Thank you so much!
That’s a give me. In my terms it means yes something has to go beneath whatever you cut out.
Hi Rachael, I’ve been meaning to ask you where you got your fabric basket? If you made it, would you do a tutorial?
I made it. I have a video it was video one in my gift ideas for Christmas 2019. I have a playlist for those so you should be able to find it easily. Thank you so much!
@@roxycreations679 awesome, I’ll look for it, thanks.

Love your tutorials! What weight paper do you use for printables? Thank you!
I usually print on regular copy paper or 120gsm. Thank you so much!
I'm so far behind. Been making quilts. 😔
Might need them it sounds cold in the US!

The labels are from Tracie Fox's shop, Love Junk Journals on Etsy. Thanks so much 😊

It would be great if you'd k eep the finished ones on screen so we could admire them.
Thank you so much!
It seems to me that if you tart the timer after your intro you would have made it 7& not 6
