I stole that one. My nephews (ages 3 & 5) go on walks and they always bring a snack. They insist on sitting on a large rock when eating their snack, and so we always call it snack rock, whatever rock it is!
Great. You've decided to bring the in-laws to explore the "outer-area" of the country. Perhaps the next step is to bring them to the neighbouring countries? One suggestion: Now that we have a VTL (travel bubble) with Indonesia's northern region, namely Bintan & Batam (Riau Archipelago), maybe you can try to explore there? It's just opposite Singapore's south-east shoreline. In fact, you can see them from Singapore. To quote Aragon from "Lord Of The Rings", "What say you?" Hehehe.
We talked about doing a VTL with them, but with the extra work required to go they were not very interested in doing so. We have one more adventure planned to post today. They have now gone home but really enjoyed their stay here!
Title “Biking Undeveloped Singapore!” really undeveloped! there are trails in the USA in parks etc…would you call it “Undeveloped USA?” choice of words matters…there are just as challenging trails in the US…thanks from one that was born in Spore now living in US 😬
It is more unusual in Singapore to have areas of the country that have not been developed. In the USA, there is so much undeveloped area it isn't very noteworthy. I call it out here because it is so rare.
Nice sharing my friend

There’s a segment with super steep slopes on the way to chek jawa right? Glad you guys pushed through with it 👍🏼
Yes, there were certainly some good hills! We had to push the bikes at certain parts but it was well worth it!
there are manatee-like animals that eat the sea grass near that board walk. They are called dugong.
I didn't know that! I'll have to look for them next time!
No seafood meal at Pulau Ubin?
No, I know it is wrong, but I'm not really a seafood person. And the in-laws wanted a simple meal that day.
Be careful of the wild boar 😳
Yes, they can be aggressive!
Fun times at Pulau Ubin, the trip to this island isnt complete without wild boar encounter.😅
