Ok I’m glad to hear about the numbers. I would think that would’ve been easier to patch in than the ratings.
Shout out to my man rocking the Arkansas State love; former student there, and stoked to see us getting back to winning the Sun Belt, and getting our red unis in; we have way more than that, though.
Grew up in Jonesboro and went to ASU as well. Moved away but they're still #1 for me. Gotta root for the underdog.
@gschwendt I believe we will make some major noise this year, and are being slept on, which is okay; all anyone talks about is Texas state cleaning up the portal, but we got something to say about it.
Not being able to edit numbers never made sense to me anyway. 2 things could have protected them from getting sued. 1) restrict name editing instead. Isnt a players likeness tied more to their name than their Number. 2) have a Blocked input filter just like they do with Curse Words for name and number combos. Thats basic coding right there
I honestly could care less to edit names and ratings. I JUST WANNA BE ABLE TO CHANGE NUMBERS!!!

Problem is, the cpu changed at least 2 NIL players numbers on me that don’t reflect their real life numbers… there is no reason for new recruits to not be able to change their numbers or face, race, and more…
@@julianwatts9024how? That makes no sense. In Madden I can make Mahomes 69 but can’t change a fictional LB recruits number from 28 to 58? Dumb.
A couple things: I played a full game yesterday and only had 1 roughing the K.
I also wish we could update height and weight-the weight of players has changed dramatically after weight training and summer ball, so the weights and sizes of players are very different now, with most players bulking up double digits weight gains.
Also, do we know if setting a player as a captain has any advantage? I’m able to set every player on my team as a captain essentially. There doesn’t appear to be a limit, which I think it should be capped at 2 offensive and 2 defensive captains but it seems limitless.
Teams can have as many as they want IRL, no point of capping it in the game. Miami for instance announced 6 captains for their Week 1 game.
@@Qsefthuk121the limit in the game is also 6. It definitely is not unlimited pre-update and post-update like OP suggested. The advantage is on game day the game will make these players more easily identifiable.
@@Qsefthuk121 I think my thought was only capping it IF there’s a benefit in the game to make a player a captain.
I ahte that i cant see stats for the award winners. It shows their dealbreaker but it'd be pretty simple to plugin that UI for the stats on the Right Stick.
Still no protective rivalries. It’s not in the game EA.. And I am having to rework my Dynasty with 4 friends because we can’t schedule each other anymore after season 2. I am going to have to put us in some super conference. It’s unacceptable that basic, highly showcased mechanics don’t work.. 🤦🏻

Playbook. By going to different playbooks and making playbook that fits our OFFENSE.

You can literally change the numbers of real players on Madden.. there’s no difference has nothing to do with nil just laziness
Is there a work around for not being able to see your route/play art during Ultimate Team squads (3v3) while your QB is calling an audible?
The camera is zoomed out and you can’t click off your player or see the route your teammate just audibles to.

Even in Dynasty or just from viewing rosters in the main menu?
@@TheGamingTailgate hmm I haven't started a dynasty because I was waiting on the roster update. I'll have to check
I thought I tried to edit players not on NIL and it allowed me to change a name to me that more of an issue than jersey #’s
Why cant u hot route the rb anymore
I just want a more balanced game. Freshman mode is too easy. Varsity mode feels too challenging to me. And I want the Rivaly game trophy room back. And some user profile stats that track wins/losses. All of this stuff was in these games from 10+ years ago. I have waaay more fun with NCAA 2005 on PS2 or 2008 on PS3. I’m not touching this game till the next patch, and probably not again till the next patch… and so on. This game has potential and is far from being done.
What is the “Switch Stick”?
Prior to the hall crossing the line of scrimmage on pass plays, you can use the right stick to change your selected defender - namely if you have selected a DB or LB. It can also be done as a DL, but you must hold Circle (ps5), I think, with using the stick. -cdj

We wanted the game back, let’s just be happy! I don’t care about edit player numbers….future iterations of the game will have more features, let’s just be patient.

@@CW-sn3lf not lowering the bar at all…it’s called being realistic! First iteration of game in a decade…..give them time to improve! Patience is a virtue 💯
Also I’m not the nit picky find everything wrong type 🤷🏾♂️ game is back and it’s actually fun, so I’m good!

@@DJfatboy32 I had high hopes for the game and don't get me wrong, I'm enjoying the game for the most part, but there are a number of quality of life components that are missing, I.e. chnagihg numbers in dynasty.
