Tracked minidumper on a steep slope

- This shows me working with my Neuson TD9 tracked minidumper on the coursed rubble wall I've been building in front of our house. The house is on a very steep slope, with access to the street by stairs only, and the only way I could get the dumper up to the house was to build a ramp. The Neuson TD 9 is rated for a max slope of 30 degrees, so I left myself some safety margin when I built the ramp at 29.9 degrees...
The Neuson TD9 is a versatile and very rugged little workhorse. The dumper is rated for a 900kg load, but I can't load that much since it'll only spill out when I start the climb... I'd estimate that I've hauled some 60+ tons up the ramp with the dumper.
This is a great testimonial of the dumpers ability. Better than a factory demo! Very interesting job you are doing.
Great video. A better promotion video they cant make for this dumper.
Wow quite the job good thing your handy with carpentry. lol
Excellent
Good work! I like a man who overcomes a challenge!
I'm pretty sure the book says 30% not 30 degrees -30 degrees is 58% -still it works though!
The ramps i made for loading my HT500 give a 23 degree / 42% slope -so i'm nearly as brave as you! mind its only 0.8m high in my case!
Do you have traction problems on the ramp when its wet?
Is the dump truck available?
