I have a feeling that after ark players watch the animated series and see how bad it is, they are going to come searching for the actual unagendafied lore. Like I did. Too bad this youtube creator didn't get the show deal instead. This was amazing.
@@anthonyfaiell3263 I've not seen the show and the trailer seemed promising but I've heard a lot of bad things about it. I was lucky enough to find this before scorched earth had released (the video i mean) and god it was amazing.
If that Animated Series ever comes out, they ought to take a TON of inspiration from this and hire Neddy and his crew to work on it. I would already buy these as a series. So freaking good!

LOVE what you did with rockwells voice towards the end! having traces of his 'sane' voice within the corrupted voice was just the icing on the horrifying cake!
These retellings of the lore are fucking incredible, the way it’s shot, the voice acting- genuinely feels like a regular movie and I enjoyed every second of it.

My partner asked me to watch this series, and while they have about 2500 hours of playtime on Steam, I never really managed to get into the game much myself... primarily due to how much space it takes up on my SSD and how long it would usually take to start up. So I never learned much about the story in-game, but... holy shit, this is amazing. This is incredibly well made, and especially this part of the series is seriously criminally underrated. I'm sending the link to this playlist to everyone I know who might at all be interested in ARK lore... and I really hope this video especially will get the attention it deserves eventually.

What you have achieved here is so monumental! Being the prime motivator for all these creative talents to tell such a great story. From the voice actors, to the mod makers, to the body actors taking direction from your vision. This work deserves awards, but it's so innovative, and ahead of it's time, there seems to be no body of peers to stand out from.
You and your team are really getting better and better at making these series. Now when you told us that it's only a beggining, I can't wait for your next work. Good luck.

SO. FREAKING. GOOD!! So glad that I tuned in for the initial showing of this masterpiece. Aberration is my favorite ARK and you guys ROCKED it! The character expressions, voice overs for all of the characters, and watching some of the scenes play out really adds that extra oomph that I sometimes wish we had in the game. Fantastically done, guys. I would LOVE to see more! I hope that the animated series, if and when it finally drops, is just as good as this.

The Graduate students is a tragic story. Just imagine the dread Inamu felt when he met Rockwell. Knowing everything was in vain.
Gorgeous adaptation. Yet again I see another creator doing the game a favor and doing their job for them. By the time any series releases you will most likely completed the story yourself. I really congratulate you for this masterpieces. For fans like me this really helps tell the story. And amazing how a 2 hour video does not feel boring at all.
I hope you keep them coming because they are true gold.

I know there are 2 kinds of ppl in ark, tryhards and lore enjoyers. And i have to say this is so much better

You're work, as usual, enhances what is often a pretty hit and miss script in the survivor logs. The cinematography, music, and set peices you build it all around are *so* good. You're enhancing the entire story with you and your team's creativity and effort! Can't wait for whatever comes next!

This video and this seriess are such a masterpiece. My love for Ark knows no bounds but DAMN, this story just increased those bounds by 8.93 meters.

Subscribed literally just to give support in some way to see more. This is extremely well done! I love the time put into the camera angles and little details like the aberrant dodo running away and hiding behind a rock from Mei, all the little things like that. This felt really professionally done and got me into the ARK storyline, where as I was previously not interested.

Damn, respect to everyone which worked this! Those animations at the end (like that Rock drake at 2:11:26 and the fight 2:12:17 ) gosh those were amazing! Respect to the voice actors ( Helena made me actually tear up at the end which her speech to Rockwell and of course I was just "Is that Neddy?!" when Santiago talked. :'D) But huge respect to the Elliot. His Rockwell voice is so *chef's kiss*

Mei Yin grabbing Helena with a vice grip refusing to let her leave after losing so much already now really does have heavier meaning considering how on Extinction she held Helena's body in her mech's hand protectively while trying to survive and fight off Element creatures

These are amazing!! The voice actors are insanely talented -- I actually had to go back and check that Rockwell's VA wasn't David Tennant! The emotion that Mei and Elliott in particular put into their characters is absolutely mind-blowing! I cannot wait to see what you do for the Extinction Survival Stories, keep up the great work!

Any chance of an extinction survival story coming out now that Ark Ascended is here? I’ve been hearing mixed responses and haven’t gotten the chance to watch any livestreams yet. This is truly amazing work, but I can tell it took a stupendous amount of time and effort. I honestly wanna cry over the lack of exposure this series has gotten, you deserve so much more man

My favorite characters are rusty, Nerva, Helena, and of course Rockwell, sadly, some died. The ending almost had me in tears. i wish i myself could physically be there but can't. These series are so good, like the atmosphere and the way its played. The ending for aberation is truly amazing as the music combined with the effects just makes it feel surreal. What a great, awesome, and beautiful story to be told and ever will be.

When Helena, Meiyin and Santiago returned to the village when Rockwell destroyed it, one of them should’ve shouted “ROCKWELLLLLLLLL” as if Guts shouting “GRIFFITTTTTTTTTTHHHHHHHHHHH”

Fantastic work neddy. I was so amazed by the different effects and intense attention to detail you put into all these notes! I know you and the team stepped down from doing stories for the rest of the expansion but damn, after watching this I'm a bit sad! Extinction would have been such an amazing chapter to see.
In either case, keep up the good work in whatever projects you pursue next. You have an incredible portfolio and I'd love to see where it all takes you in the future.

These videos make me hyped for Survival Ascended, I want to finally beat the game map to map in order. Bugs or crashing always ended my attempts, especially in gen 1 and 2, I dearly hope they fix those issues.

@@albatros4003 Because ASA is coming out soon and adapting to new Game would take time, they still can do it on previous ASE but Extinction is so different in lore than the actual map compare to other Game Map Vs Lore map they were did
Have loved the work that you and all those involved have put into this series. Really hope you consider an extinction survival stories, it really brings the game's story to life. But if this is the end, then it sure went out with a bang! Great work with the Rockwell/Mei Yin fight scene btw, I could almost feel her rage throughout the battle. Anyways, hope we get to see some more after ARK:SA comes out but if not, then thank you and all involved for what you gave us.

A bit of the lore here thats been slept on is that while on the first ark evryone was mostly simple monded to "Tek". Before Aberration became the heck scape the survivors knew of tek and right away "We blow it up"...
Loved this!!! way better then anything to date about ark lore. Even once the anime series launches this by far will be better then anything that show will have.

From 2:07:33 to 2:07:41, you can slightly hear Rockwell Aberration note #30 in the background. It only plays a part of it but it’s still there.
