Keep going, took me a long time but in the last few weeks I started getting a lot more confident (mostly playing ranked), ran into Insha tonight and lived to tell the tale
Keep practicing. Play new divisions that feel uncomfortable. It’ll make you pay more attention to what you’re doing instead of autopilot playing a set strat you always stick to.
Can someone explain to me how do the factions work in this game? I see alot of factions with equipment that doesnt belong them so I was wondering what sets each country apart?
It's WW2 so you have the axis and allied factions to choose from. Each faction has a large number of their own divisions which you can choose to play as. The divisions in this game are based on their reallife counterparts from WW2. The development team does a lot of research on the equipment and loadout which these units historically used. So for example the German army wasn't the "warmachine" their propaganda wanted everyone to believe and they had to rely on captured enemy weapons very often ('beutewaffen' in German). This will result in many German divisions having for example old French tanks, Soviet T-34's, squads equiped with Soviet DP-28's machine guns etc. This is reflected in the different divisions you can play as in the game. In general I would say the axis divisions perform better at longer ranges and have more choices for heavy tanks and that allied divisions perform better at closer ranges. In total I believe there are like close to 80 divisions to choose from in this game, each with their own strengths, weaknesses, and playstyles. So yea there are plenty of options and it's hard to make a generalized statement about the two factions.
Random place to ask this but I can't find any info anywhere and I think Vulcan or his community might know. What are the requirements for an artillery shell or bomber's HE bomb to destroy a tank?
AFAIK tanks have a number of health points and HE explosions can damage them. I think the size of the HE and the damage stat it has effects what tanks it can damage. I could be entirely wrong but I think it works something like that.
Okay, thank you. Does this mean if a tank gets hit by multiple small HE shells/bombs, it will eventually be destroyed? Or is it just a chance on hit to destroy with the larger shells/bombs?
Yep enough smaller HE shells will deal damage and eventually kill tanks. I’m not sure but I think armour might have some effect in stopping the really small HE so a 60mm mortar might never be able to destroy an IS-2 for example.
Vulcan playing steel division 2: i sleep
Vulcan pronouncing various unit names (to my ears) perfectly: real shit
As a hungarian I have to say your pronunciation was on point the whole time! I appreciate that you put effort into these kind of things too:)
You make it look so easy. Over 150 hours in this game and I still get absolutely MOPPED. lol.

The perfect way to kill time at work! Thanks!

@@ayyelemayo7390 Thank you for the explanation!
that Fw 189 looks sooooooooo cool.
What's the best way to counter long range German armour like panthers with Soviet decks?
Smoke, use cover to get closer, flanking at guns, artillery, aircraft if no aa.
@@VulcanHDGaming thanks!
2k HE is good too but you need to fire on the ground at the edge of the range. Arty works too.
