Stylmartin Legend WP Evo Boot Review

The Stylmartin Legend WP Evo is a high performance and technical motorcycle boot in the guise of a traditional heritage boot. Its tall length, clean lines and old school buckle fastening make it the perfect match for retro motorcycles.
First came the Legend boot, then came the Legend WP Evo. This updated version of the popular original from respected Italian brand Stylmartin now includes a black rubber non-slip Vibram sole which brings much more stability, durability and grip both on and off the bike. The rest of the format picks up where the original left off with a matte black full-grain leather outer backed by a fully waterproof and breathable lining. This package means the Legend Evo is a more capable touring boot than ever so you can go the distance without the conditions holding you back.

Ignoring symmetry as a reason for the gear change pads on both sides, some riders still own bikes with right hand gear levers, and the old school classic gearboxes are also very hard on those pads, so those pads are essential.

Have the first-gen of this boot. I have about 3years/15k miles (25k km) on them and they are great. They are solid and waterproof. I wear them all year here in Northern California. Looks like I will get another year's wear on mine. Then I will get another pair. The downside Stylmartin addressed was the zipper. Sometimes after long rides, my foot gets stuck due to swelling. The longer zipper should address that. The downside not addressed (I think?) is the plastic hardware on the boot. Well, the price point is pretty good. Still, metal hardware would be nice as the plastic can break. Nothing that a zip-tie won't fix. ;-)

Quite similar to the belstaff endurance boot and other engineers motorcycle boots on offer but a good price!
